NEXT Harm Reduction Position: Program Coordinator Full-Time Position Salaried $55,000 Location: Remote Position NEXT Distro “NEXT” is an online and mail-based harm reduction program working to provide resources to people who use drugs that cannot access in-person services. NEXT will be hiring a Program Coordinator to strengthen our organizational infrastructure and ensure participant services are timely. This position will lead utilization of programmatic data to improve program performance, develop impact strategy, and inform stakeholders. Essential Functions ● Manage and monitor program data and organization software. This includes overseeing the data from enrollments, supply requests, and overdose reporting forms, and troubleshooting any issues as they arise. ● Monitor project management workflows for NEXT staff and affiliate partners to ensure participants are being served in a timely manner including contingency management and planning for expected and unexpected absences. ● Participant facing communications including answering NEXT’s general phone line and text messaging service. ● Support the Program Director with programmatic changes including altering order forms, service request forms, and website edits as needed. ● Provide supervision to Intake Coordinators including resolution of emerging issues; ability to take on Intake Coordinator workflows in the event of expected or unexpected absence. ● As part of an interdisciplinary team, respond to emerging opportunities including but not limited to service expansion, resource creation, public relations, and participant needs. ● Support NEXT’s work building an encrypted web application that provides secure enrollment, ordering, and participant management functions. This will include being a point of contact for programmatic inquiries, researching, reviewing, and testing systems, supporting the roll out of the technology solution with program affiliates and assessing ongoing development needs. ● Other duties as assigned. Requirements ● Commitment to supporting people who use drugs through harm reduction strategies ● Reliable and trustworthy, ability to effectively communicate verbally and through phone/email ● Ability to organize information using spreadsheets, experience with conditionally formatted spreadsheets a plus, meticulous attention to detail ● High level of problem solving ability, must know when to ask for support and guidance
