A French photographer with an eye for capturing vintage and ethereal looks. What do you shoot on? Old cameras mostly, Polaroids and 120 medium format. I don’t have a proper digital camera, although I am fond of the low-grade Lomography-style software I use on my phone camera for blog images. It’s pretty bad quality but I sometimes like digital noise, only sometimes. What do you always find yourself taking photos of? I seem to concentrate on location shoots as the backdrop can lend so much to the mood and set off the fashion in a different light. Tell us about this photo. The picture of the blonde model, Anika, was shot in Berlin. The shoot was initially inspired by a friend’s home whose décor was very retro. We styled and built the story around this look. I like the candid feel to some of the shots from that story. I like the way they are a little scratchy. How many cameras do you have? Probably in the region of 15 but I use only about five of them regularly. I’ve also just bought a super 8 camera to shoot fashion films. My perfect day involves... getting home at the end of the day to my boyfriend. Cheesy but true! Anywhere I am is perfect as long as he’s there. It’s the simple things in life, right?  Check out Marie-Fleur's work at marie-fleur.com.

Samuel Shelley & Catherine Miller . We are a graphic designer and policy analyst. Winter to us means snow on the mountain, winter food, still crisp mornings. So we took photos of the docks on the way to work, eating pies up the mountain in the snow and picking fresh horseradish at a friend’s farm with rib eye roast in mind. The worst thing about winter is... Going to work in the dark! The best is not feeling bad about sitting by the fire all day doing bugger all. Name

As the days grow darker, so do our locks. It's official, brunette is back. 57

"With darker hair, it's all about the gloss and shine," says Wayne Lewis, Technical Director for Original & Mineral. "We're using a lot of O&M's Liquid CCT because the colours are very rich in both argan and macadamia oils, which are super nourishing for the hair." TIP: Lather up with gentle shampoos that contain UV filters to prevent unnecessary stripping and fading. Try the new Schwarzkopf BC Color Freeze Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($25.95) or De Lorenzo Nova Fusion Colour Care Shampoo in Natural Tones ($24.95) to enhance brown hues and add depth.
