Ban Jelačić Square is the central square of the city of Zagreb. It’s the most crowded place of the city with it’s trams carrying thousands of people in a day. You can find the true spirit of Croatian people in there.
Tsiknopemptee
Thessaloniki, Greece. 2022.
The Thursday in the Kreatini Week is called Tsiknopemptee. Tsikno means the smell of grilled meat and Pempti means Thursday. This Thursday is a day to take your family out to a tavern and eat grilled meat. Tsiknopemptee is also the day when the parties start and the first masquerades for the Greek Carnival make their appearance.
Needs Zagreb, Croatia. 2022. Grič Tunnel is a pedestrian tunnel located under the historic neighbourhood of Grič. It was built during World War II to serve both as a bomb shelter and a promenade.
Dark Side Of The Moon Malmö, Sweden. 2022.
Turning Torso is a neo-futurist residential skyscraper. It was the tallest building in the Nordic region until September 2022. It is a solid, immobile building constructed in nine segments of five-story pentagons that twist relative to each other as it rises; the topmost segment is twisted 90 degrees clockwise from the ground floor.
Long Way To Go Malmö, Sweden. 2022.
The Öresund is a combined railway and motorway bridge between Denmark and Sweden. It is the longest in Europe with both roadway and railway combined in a single structure, running nearly 8 kilometres.
The Jellyfishes
Thessaloniki, Greece. 2022.
“The Umbrellas” was made by Greek sculptor Giorgios Zongolopoulos in 1997 when Thessaloniki was the European Capital of Culture. Each umbrella is about 13 meters tall and slightly tilted. Now one of the most photographed places in the entire city, it’s sometimes illuminated with different lights making it even more magical.
