CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
HONEYCOMB The hive symbolises the form of community and hierachy in reflection of nowadays society. Just like our very own governing body, the hive is ruled by the the queen and every individual bees has it’s own function to contribute to the hive. This interpretation of hive suits the artist’s views on his arts and it also reflects his surroundings and current issues. The artist uses art form to tell a story which in turn giving the art a voice to speak what is left unspoken.

OCEANIC WAVES The ocean is the beginning of life on Earth, and symbolizes formlessness, the unfathomable, and chaos. The ocean can also be seen as a symbol of stability, as it can exist largely unchanged for centuries. The ocean is considered to be boundless, a place where one can easily be lost, and can therefore be seen to represent the boundless span of life, and the way one can get lost on the journey through life.

CONSTRUCTION METHOD TONGUE & GROOVE It is made with one edge consisting of a slot that runs down the entire length of the material and a tongue which fits into the slot. This groove and tongue feature creates a reasonably strong and aesthetically pleasing joint that can be used in areas such as floorboards, lining boards, wood panelling and table tops. The tongue with a grove feature is easy to attach together because of its simplicity and it allows for a tight fit that has plenty of surface area for adhesives.

LOLLIPOP CANDY to transports its guests to a modern day version of Willy Wonka's factory the moment they enter. Its pop art installations—such as the iconic oversized lollipop tree, candy cane columns, dripping chocolate shelves, kaleidoscopic candy wallpaper and candy-embedded staircases—embody the pinnacle of "retail-tainment". The ultra-sensory experience is enhanced with delectable smells, a candy timeline and a vast milieu of candy songs and commercials awarding customers not just a sugar high, but a sweet lasting euphoria.

The shop is design inspired by the american latin culture and retro style. By combining these two together, each has its own historical and cultural experiences. Bright colors and inspiration brought by nature and bold statement. The use of "retro" style a culturally outdated or aged style, trend, mode, or fashion, from the overall post-modern past, that has since that time become functionally or superficially the norm once again.
