Earl Foster was a man who touched the lives of many. He was a lively, warm, funny, but strict man who loved people and was an archer from the heart. He loved the sport and loved bringing new people into his world of fun. Because he was often called upon to help those newcomers and long term shooters tune their bow, select a new one, or add bits and pieces to make what they had even better, Earl and his wife, Millie, started a little archery shop in their home. After 30 years, that same shop, BB Archery, is still running today in Raytown. Earl spent the majority of his life supporting and promoting archery through MBH and NFAA. He was

a President of MBH and Independence Bowhunters and served as MBH’s Director for many years. He was recognized with numerous years of service and dedication awards by IBH, MBH and NFAA. He received the Pauline Reeg award from MBH; he was abducted into MBH’s Hall of Fame in 2011, and was honored by NFAA with The Presidential Award. Outside of archery, Earl enjoyed fishing and hunting and his beloved golf, all of which he enjoyed doing with his family and friends. This outstanding ambassador of archery was my grandpa. Grandpa, I would like to say thank you for taking me fishing, being my neighbor, being my bank when I needed some help, supporting my shooting, and being my friend. I will think of you when I am fishing at the lake, I will remember you at every archery tournament and I will miss you when I graduate with my Master’s degree. As I continue my 30 plus years of shooting and dedicating my time and energy to archery as you and grandma have, I hope I can continue to leave the same legacy and so that others will see me as “a chip off the ole block” because I know I was trained by the best. The love and support you gave grandma, her kids, your grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren will carry each and every one of us thru until we meet again. Go and dance with your true love. Thanks again to everyone who sent or gave me and my family your condolences. It was nice to know that I have a big archery family who is there for me. God Bless. n

My fellow pros, welcome to the 2013 season! Hopefully you’re all set up with all your hottest new gear and eagerly preparing for what looks like one of the best seasons I can remember. More tournaments, more money, and more coverage! It’s finally working!! We have much to look forward to this season in many ways. Lets talk about tournaments first. In 2012 we had a record 5 private Pro Sanctioned events not hosted by the NFAA or WAF. So far this season we already are on track to exceed that again. When you take into account the NFAA, WAF, and NFAA Pro Sanctioned events already on the books or coming on board there is almost $250,000 guaranteed pro money up for grabs. It’s a record annual purse for our pros. You’ll see that WAF also added a pro bonus for our newest pros the recurvers. They committed $2000 additional for men and $1000 for women. It puts the Recurve Championship pot in Vegas at almost $22,000! It’s a stunning and welcome shift for our members, be sure to thank the WAF board when you see them. In media coverage, you can expect to see several pro shooter seminars and roving TV crews from various cable, satellite, and internet programs on scene at several events all season long. It’s all part of an exciting commitment by some high profile pro shooters and broadcasters who are doing their best to elevate the sport to the next possible

level. Please thank them when you see them and be sure to offer your support. Who knows you might be one of the next faces your friends at home see on the screen. Our membership numbers are way up; higher than they have ever been as far back as I can see in the books. We were right at 300 pros at the end of 2012, an increase of almost 100 since I came on. My goal is to see the Pro Division crest over 500 in the next two years. It’s a lofty goal but it I think it would open more doors for advertising and promotion as well as adding to the pro purses across the board. More participation guarantees more money. It’s a very significant number and would be quite a landmark in the archery community. I encourage all of you to promote the division and encourage the shooters of above average ability to step up in all classes— men, women, seniors, and especially recurve.

I’d also like to develop a minimum qualifier program

with your help and input as well. Something we can implement over the next couple of seasons. It’s important that we have programs in place for shooters to earn a card, not just buy one. The struggle to convert from the old ways to the new has seen its fair share of challenges but their efforts are making it easier on everyone. Please thank them when you see them on the road. com. I beg you to please register right away if possible. Pre-registration will make things on site a much more streamlined event. Again we will have some new staff and adding to their workload is not what we should be about. Please be professional and deal with it now, don’t be “that pro”…if you’re going, register early. It’s easier than ever, www.TheVegasShoot.com. Other things to look for in Vegas are several seminars by our elite shooters. Topics will range from event prep, tuning, gear choices, competition tips, etc.; the list is endless. I want to thank all of them for stepping up and making themselves available to the shooters and sharing their expertise. Look for information online and on site, tell shooters that you know to make plans to attend. Some events are limited attendance. Reflecting on the efforts of Natalie and Donna, I’m happy to report that we had the best year ever with regard to timely event result reporting. Because of that and the new tracking system Donna created, the Pro Point winners have been calculated and checks are already done. Please join me in congratulating the winners! Paige Pierce ran away with PFFS, winning by 245 points, finishing with 685. Serena Mollhauer took second and Jamie VanAtta, third. In the SMFS, Tom Coblenz beat Joe Kapp for first with an 830 and a 675, respectively. Tony Harbaugh rounding out the top three. Emory Budzinski took the top spot for Pro Fingers again with a 565. The real battle was PMFS. Braden Gellenthein edged out Jesse Broadwater by just 2.5 points—the difference was

Several years ago, my daughter, Sally, had an exciting summer of activities, including attending an Olympic Games. her form perfected. At the conclusion of the tournament she called, with excitement in her voice, “I did it. I won! I shot my highest score in my match against the world champion!” Visualization and a strong mental program can help an archer perform at top level. Note, I said help. I do not recommend using it to replace good hard practice, but if that is your only option, use it. Visualization works best when it is combined with strong physical practice, which is needed to give you muscle memory and to build stamina. To learn visualization programming, I recommend sitting back in a comfortable easy chair. Close your eyes and mentally go through each step of shooting an arrow, following the same arrow sequence that you would use if you were actually making a shot. The first several times you perform this, actually hold your arms out and go through the motions. As the image becomes clearer, stop raising your arms physically and do the whole shot process in your mind. See the mental image from the viewpoint of you, the archer, making the shot. Feel yourself performing the sequence. Make it as real as possible. Feel the muscles required to pull and hold the bow. See the sight pin settle in on the target. Hear the bow go off. Feel the recoil. See the bow arm finish straight at the target. See your nock appear in the 10-ring. The more you can feel and see, the more vivid the visualization will become. The more relaxed you are, the more real the experience will be. As the mental process grows stronger, the image that is left in your mind will help you build good form and confidence. The whole process of visualization will grow and develop as you practice it. Eventually, you will be able to use the method at any time and in any place. I have been in shoot-offs in front of hundreds of people. Once I start running my mental program, there is no one there but me and the target. My whole focus is on shooting a shot with

It was early November when my wife Claudia and I were starting to feel the pressures from life. She is a caregiver for three elderly family members. I have a high pressure job in addition to many hobbies and sports (painting, archery, scuba, biking, fishing, hunting just to name a few). I also have the habit of getting more involved than most individuals. With archery, for example, I serve as the New England Councilman, the state president and I maintain the NFAA course at my club. Having a couple of vacation days left, I suggested that we head to Maine for a quiet, three-day weekend. I suggested we stay somewhere nice, sleep late, eat seafood, and do some sightseeing, all without the interruptions that our daily lives seem to have. Claudia’s a good sport and she didn’t seem to mind when I suggested that there was an archery tournament that we could attend on the Sunday of the weekend we chose. So I called Central Maine Archery and booked a slot on the Sunday line at 9 am. On Saturday, we left home around 11:00AM, drove for three-and-a-half hours, and checked into a wonderful hotel room. We then hopped back in the car and drove to nearby Freeport for some shopping (or as I like to call it, “helping the local economy”), followed by some great seafood. On Sunday morning after a great breakfast, we

found our way to the archery shop in Auburn, Maine. We were warmly greeted and I was pleasantly surprised at the number of shooters. It’s a good thing I registered ahead of time. This was a Sunday shoot (no special awards or recognition), and they had approximately 60 shooters. The sport of archery is doing quite well in Maine. I quickly made friends with the other shooters on my target butt. The three of them shot extremely well; two of them shot 300—one with 60 X’s and the other with 55 X’s. At the half they take a break for hotdogs. Having had a large breakfast, I decided to pass, so I sat and relaxed, talking to Claudia, while all the hotdog activity took place. While sitting there, one person walked by and from a distance I noticed that their hotdog was a bright red. In my mind I was thinking, “Who in their right mind would put ketchup on a hotdog; that’s just not right.” I also thought it must be some very bright ketchup! Then I noticed a couple more people with bright red hotdogs; it wasn’t ketchup making them red—that was the color of the hotdogs. Curiosity got the better of me, so I asked what it was they were eating. The owner Jess stated that they were Jordan’s Red Hot Dogs. She then asked if I’d ever had one. When I said I had not, she stated, “Well that’s just wrong.” I must say it was quite good (with mustard, of course). A special thank you to Tom and Jess, as well as the continued on page 12

other shooters from Maine, for the warm hospitality. Although my scores were not great, I had a wonderful time at the tournament. I was impressed with the high caliber of shooters and how well the tournament was attended. I do hope to travel around to other states and pop in at other local tournaments, so keep your eyes open for me—I have a son who lives in Maryland and another one who lives in Connecticut, while my wife’s best friend is in western New York. If you get the chance to travel, take your bow and look at the NFAA web site to get information on local tournaments in other states and visit their web sites. n Central Maine Archery is located in Auburn Maine and is owned by Tom and Jess Hartford. They have 8,000 square feet of archery with a side order of retail firearms. They have raised 5 Olympic Gold archers in their JOAD program, two of whom made it to USAT. They have owned CMA for the past 11 years and are both Level 2 certified coaches with NAA. This March they will host the Maine State NFAA Championships for Maine Archery Association.

dan kolb Northwest Section Councilman Greetings from the Northwest Section, home of the Rocky Mountains, Big Sky Country, First National Park, Land of the Midnight Sun and the Pacific Ocean! I will start with a short description of the various state directors and of myself. I started bow hunting in 1966 in Utah. In 1973, I was transferred to Wyoming, 12 Archery Magazine

and in 1975 a friend told me about an archery club and invited me to come and shoot. I did. Boy was I in for a big surprise as everyone was shooting a compound bow, something I had never seen before! Soon I was hooked on archery, and not long after my family was shooting with me. I have won numerous state, sectional, and national titles, and a Silver Medal at the First World Indoor Archery Championship. I was selected to represent Wyoming as state director in 1990, an honor I held for 19 years until I was elected as the Sectional Councilman three years ago. Hubert Sims, director of Idaho, has been the state director for 26 years. Hubert started bow hunting in Mississippi while in high school, served a stint in the Marine Corps, then moved to Idaho for better hunting. There he joined a local archery club, and was introduced to a compound bow with sights and a mechanism called a “release.” Hubert joined the state and national NFAA to shoot in the State Championships in 3-D, Field, Indoor, and a type they called the American Round. Jeff Meyer has been the state director for Wyoming for the last year. He has been in the state association for five years, while holding the title of state president at the same time. I enjoyed shooting and found it a good way to relieve stress. I met my future husband at the pro shop about 9 months after I started shooting and he asked if I wanted to get good. He put a clicker on my bow and a week later I won my first tournament.

I enjoy reading fiction and taking pictures.

very year one of the duties of the President is to assign councilmen and directors to different committees. One of these committees is the Rule Interpretation Committee (RIC). This committee is made up of councilmen and the Committee’s job is to review and rule on any rulings that a director has made relating to the NFAA constitution or by-laws. Most directors’ rulings are made on shooting equipment. After the RIC rules, their decision is then sent to the other directors. This decision usually stands until the directors in session meet and vote on the RIC ruling at their annual meeting.

Once, when I sat on the RIC, we had a question that practically took the Wisdom of Solomon to answer. It was a about a sight for the Bow Hunter Freestyle Division. None of us had ever seen a sight like this and the archer was having a hard time

explaining it to us. Thankfully the manufacturer of the sight was at the ATA show and I was able to see for myself what the archer was talking about. After seeing the sight, it made my decision much easier. The sight was legal and all the manufacturer did was think outside the box to come up with a new way of using our rules to develop his product. By the way, this is why you want continued on page 16

Okay, what does this have to do with you? Not much, unless you have purchased the newest get-ya-more-points-fast gadget on the market. Even though archery manufacturers can bypass the director and ask for a ruling on their get-ya-more-points-fast, they usually don’t. It’s not their fault, it is up to the archer to know the equipment rules of his/her division and style. So how do you go about finding out if your get-ya-more-points-fast is legal? You first need to know who the director of your state is. Above all, “Have a mental game!” What is your favorite tournament memory? The 2010 Indoor Nationals in Louisville Kentucky, I shot 4 Robinhoods and earned 4 Fellowship of the Robinhood patches! I felt like such a celebrity! Everyone was congratulating me and taking my picture. It was very cool! Do you have a favorite professional archer or other mentor that you are inspired by? Different people inspire me in different ways. Sarah Lance (Mathews Pro) for teaching me her form when I was starting out. Glenn Campbell (Mathews Pro) for teaching me about the mental game and how to work on my bow. It’s not all about winning, it’s about just having fun. What is your favorite tournament memory? When I won the NFAA Indoor National Championship in 2012 with a perfect 600 120X’s. I have switched to the Olympic Recurve style and hoping to make the Olympics someday. n

What advice do you have for other Junior archers that want to compete at Vegas for the first time? GO! It’s a great experience they will never forget. I still remember my first Vegas shoot back in ‘08. I couldn’t wait all year for it to come around again. Kids should take advantage of the show room, check out all the new products and meet some people in the industry. It’s an opportunity they don’t get many other places to meet pros, reps, and friends from around the world and have a great time with people who share our passion. What is your favorite tournament memory? The end of the first day of this Vegas shoot brings good memories. Everybody else in my class had dropped a point or a few, accept for me. With just a few ends left, we all realized that I was the only one on track to shoot a 300. When it got down to the last end, I knew I could clean the first day, and it would be my first 300 in a tournament. All my family, coach, and friends were watching with nervous faces. I was shaking harder than I ever had that end. My first arrow was a really close call, and we had to get the judge to call it in. When he said “ten” there was a huge sigh of relief and all my family and friends started cheering. It was pretty awesome. continued on page 21

Have fun, get plenty of rest two nights before the tournament, register early and know your schedule ahead of time. What is your favorite tournament memory? Seeing old friends and meeting new archers. Do you have a favorite professional archer or other mentor that you are inspired by? My current coach, John Magera made the 2004 Olympic Team in Athens. What is your favorite subject in school? Math. Besides archery, what other hobbies or activities do you participate in? I enjoy shooting and editing videos. I am an editor of my school’s Simulcast. Any future plans or goals? I received an early acceptance to the FU Foundation of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. Shooting Style: Freestyle with a hinge release How long have you been shooting archery? I started as an NASP shooter; our team even won state. We placed eighth in the nation. From that point I was hooked. I moved into competitive archery as a 3D shooter, then later discovered indoor archery. I really love indoor because of the skill required and the precision and mental focus you need to maintain. Congratulations on your 2012 Vegas Championship! What advice do you have for other Junior archers that want to compete at Vegas for the first time? The main thing that kids like me could do to get a jump start on their archery is to find a quality coach and join an archery team type program like JOAD. My involvement in Archery Learning Center’s Elite Team Hornet Program was a huge boost to prepare me for big shoots like Vegas and National Indoor. It takes good coaches with consistent teaching that have real-world experience in big shoots to prepare you for that. What is your favorite tournament memory? Traveling with my archery team to Vegas and getting to see something as cool as the World Indoor, World Cup Indoor and getting to see all the vendors. The whole Vegas experience was amazing and being fortunate enough to win on my first trip just topped off an unbelievable experience. My coaches Ginger Hopwood and George Ryals at Archery Learning Center have done a lot for me. They’ve helped me move from a fun shooter to a serious target shooter with a chance to win. Miss Ginger’s way of coaching and knack for knowing what I need is hard to find and I’m very grateful to have found her. Mr. George’s experience in tournament archery and his ability to explain what was going to happen in a tournament environment really helped me to prepare for Vegas and the other tournaments I have done well in. My dad got me my first bow and words hard to make sure I have the gear that I need. His excitement for archery and my mother’s encouragement helps keep me in the game even when things don’t go my way. Thanks, Mom and Dad! What is your favorite subject in school? Social Studies is my favorite. I like learning about history because it interests me and it gives me a good feel for where we are in the world. Besides archery, what other hobbies or activities do you participate in? I love the outdoors. When I’m not shooting, I pretty much do it all. I wakeboard, fish, hunt, camp and hang out with friends. My family spends a lot of time camping in the summer and it’s a great way for us to keep close. Any future plans or goals? Ultimately I’d like to make a run at the US Elite Teams and one day participate in the World Cup Series and compete internationally. n

You’ll notice in the coming year I plan to make a big deal about Pro Points Standings. It has been deeply neglected over the last few seasons and I fully intend to give it the recognition it deserves. I’ll be doing the same with Shooter of the Year information. In 2012 we had an astounding five pro sanctioned events; looking ahead for 2013 we’re on track to beat that record with possibly six or seven as I write this. I urge you all to attend those events that have taken the time and effort to financially support the Pro Division. Just a reminder that the First Dakota Classic moving indoors like the old Atlantic City shoot. It’s also moved to mid-April to open the schedule a bit. Again, it’s promising to be an incredible turnout. I’m hopeful that more of you will attend than ever before. Housekeeping reminders: Please make sure you have all sent in your pro renewals ASAP. Doing that on-site at the tournaments adds unnecessary work for the staff and invites the opportunity for problems. Please plan ahead and get that done. Also please make sure you have registered with the online pro notification system. Roughly 40% of the pros have still not made an email or accurate phone

number available for communication. It’s pretty frustrating and very expensive to not be able to communicate by anything other than an envelope these days. There are three ways to do this. Number one: Fill it out properly when you renew and the NFAA staff will get it in the system. Number two: Simply text the word PROARCHER to 96362 and add your information. And number three: Go to itextusa. biz/onlineSignup/ProArcher/ProArcher and fill out your information there. Please watch for a new pro page to be coming soon. I’m building it now and will let you know as soon as it’s up. It will feature scheduling, information, rules, etc. for all things related to professional archers. Also please be on the watch for upcoming surveys and communications that will pertain to the NFAA meeting in February. I’ll be sending those the first or second week of January for presentation at the Vegas meeting. There are a few surprise items submitted by other members that I’ll need your opinion on. If I am selected to receive the NFAA Scholarship, when and how will I receive it? A confirmation letter to the winner(s) of the NFAA Scholarship will be mailed in April. has to do with archery, which is Indoor, Field, 3-D and hunting. Jeff’s two boys (ages 8 and 6) follow him around as he shoots and hunts. His oldest son was with him when Jeff shot a nice antelope; his son said it was one of the best days of his life, and it was for Jeff, too. Joel McNeese, state director from Montana, started shooting and hunting in 1989 when he was 14 years old. He is into competitive archery and long range rifle shooting. He has been active with MAAI for the last twelve years. In that time he has been the tournament director, president, and secretary/treasurer, and is now in the middle of his first two-year term as state director. Matt Anderson from Washington is in his first term as state director. Matt is a retired Navy chief and got into archery in 1996 as a bow hunter, attending his first 3-D in 1998. Matt coached his daughters, Olivia and

Sara, to nine national titles. Olivia thought archery was easy and went on to prove it, as she has set every state record and won five silver bowls. Her sister Sara has won four silver bowls. Matt says coaching his daughters was the reason he became active in the WSAA and the NFAA. He enjoys being Washington’s state director, and looks forward to making a difference. “It can be done.” The Northwest Section information can be found on each state’s web site along with shoot information and dates. The Sectional Indoor is held the second weekend of March at various sites in the states. The Sectional Outdoor is held the third weekend of June, and that will be held in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Curt Goudy State Park. n

EASTON FOUNDATIONS NATIONAL FIELD ARCHERY ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION JOINT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 1. Deadline for 2012 scholarship applications to be received at the NFAAF Office in Yankton is December 31, 2013. The winners will be announced at the World Archery Festival Vegas Shoot, February 2014. 2. The NFAA Scholarship Committee will review and rank the applications, place each applicant into the appropriate category and present their suggestions to the Joint Scholarship Approval Committee for their approval. The Joint Scholarship Approval Committee, consisting of two Directors of the National Field Archery Association Foundation and two Directors of the Easton Foundations, will make a joint decision on winners and the final amounts for each scholarship. 3. The NFAA National Office will notify all applicants if their application was denied or approved, and the amount of the scholarship. If approved, it will also describe the procedure for the scholarship payment. 4. For all scholarships greater than $500, the recipient will receive an Archery Activity Report form that must be completed and sent to the NFAA National Office twice a year, showing their archery activities during the year. Applicant Requirements The maximum amount of all scholarships for the first three years will be $50,000 per year. The goal is to provide 50% of the scholarships to recurve archers and 50% to compound archers. A secondary goal will be to split the scholarships equally between men & women. • Applicants must be a member of the NFAA or the NAA/USA Archery. • Applicants that are not graduating from high school in the current year (JOAD, NASP, junior high, or high school freshman/sophomore archers) may apply. n For this group, any approved scholarships will be held by the Foundation until the student notifies the Foundation they are graduating from high school, and the name of the qualified school they plan to attend. • High school applicants must be applying to be full time students at a two or four year college/university or a technical training college (these are considered qualified schools). n Applicant must maintain a 2.0 GPA minimum on a 4.0 scale in the current year. • College applicants must be full time students at either a two or four year college or university. 38 Archery Magazine

Scholarship Levels 1. JOAD, NASP, Junior High, High School, Junior College or Trade College Students: Eligible for $500 scholarships. 2. College Freshmen, Sophomore, or Juniors: Scholarship amounts will vary between $500-2,500 based on the archer’s accomplishments, future competition plans, and the following: a. Applicant is attending college, participates in the college archery club program, and is shooting competitively. b. Applicant is attending a college that does not have an archery club program, but the student is shooting competitively on their own. i. If the student starts a new archery club program at their school, this will be a major factor to receive a scholarship the next year. ii. Students that are more successful starting archery clubs will be considered for greater scholarship amounts. 3. If the Applicant has made the current Olympic, PanAm, or Other International Team through the USA Archery selection process: Scholarship amounts will vary between $2,500-5,000 based on the archer’s accomplishments and future competition plans. a. The Joint Scholarship Approval Committee may approve a ‘training grant’ for Olympic, PanAm, or World Team members that have graduated from college, and allow them to use the grant to pay for training, and competition travel expenses without needing to be spent on the archer’s education. (Though this situation is expected to be rare, it will allow top US archers to apply for financial support.) 4. Mental imaging, like shooting a bow, does not come in one or

two practice sessions. It continues to grow and become stronger each time you use it. One year, I was giving so many archery lessons that I didn’t have enough time for my own shooting practice. In the evenings I would go downstairs to our archery room and shoot at a blank bale for about half an hour. To my surprise, when I would go to an indoor target tournament, I found I was shooting some of the best indoor scores that I had ever accomplished. Why? By repeatedly reinforcing the steps of good form with the people I was helping, I engraved the image of good form in my mind. Working with my students also strengthened my own shooting. Visualization is a very useful tool in correcting a flaw in your form. For example, if you are collapsing and not consistently applying pressure to the string with the release arm, run your visualization program repeatedly while picturing yourself and applying good pressure. Then go in front of the target, close your eyes, and actually shoot the shot as you visualize it. This method allows you to address the problem without being overly concerned with the other aspects of the shot process. Keep practicing with the blank bale until the correct back pressure is incorporated into your shooting sequence.

Did applicant compete at the JOAD National

Championships? 5. Did the applicant participate at the USIAC in the prior year? 6. Did the applicant participate in the NAA or NFAA Sectional Tournaments in the prior year? 7. Did the applicant participate in the NFAA Indoor, Outdoor, or 3-D Nationals in the prior year? 8. Did the applicant participate in the World Archery Festival’s 3-Star Tour in the prior year? 9. Did the applicant participate in the NASP National Championship? 10. The applicant’s GPA, college entrance scores, and community support activities, are important Ranking Selection Criteria, and will be considered after evaluating the applicant’s archery experience and capability to improve/enhance future US Archery Teams. The Joint Scholarship Approval Committee will make the final determination of which students will receive scholarships and the amount of each scholarship. n

During the 2012 qualifying tournaments, which did you enjoy shooting the most? Why? Vegas is always fun, but I love outdoor shooting, and the Redding trail shoot is probably my favorite shoot of the year. I love shooting long distance outside, and at Redding there are some long shots. You also get to shoot in a larger group of fellow archers and friends, for three days, and have a chance to enjoy the day with them, as you’re shooting around the range. Any archery goals or plans for 2013? I want to do some more of the FITA field style shooting. Maybe some more of the known 50 Asa shoots; maybe go for Asa shooter of the year in that class, and definitely go for NFAA shooter of the year again. I’m also looking forward to the indoor distance shoot in Yankton. Besides archery, what other sports or hobbies do you enjoy? I’m into modified diesel trucks, paintball, hunting, fishing, long range tactical rifle shooting, anything outdoors. But most of all, I enjoy spending all the time I can with my family. I don’t want to miss a second with our kids growing up, and sometimes it’s tough being on the road, traveling to shoots and shows.
