Introduction to Entrepreneurship Class

TheUniversity of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Duval County Extension is hosting a Start Your Small Business class on February 9, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Jacksonville Canning Center.

Participants will learn how to create a simplified business plan, marketing strategies and how to make candles and body scrubs as gifts for their valentine. At the end of the class, participants will be able to take home the products they made.

Closed-toe shoes are required. Those that have shoulder-length hair or longer, must have it pulled back (hair must be secured firmly so no touching is needed). Also participants are asked to avoid wearing loose-fitting blouses or shirts that may get caught on the equipment.
