Dear Wrangler NFR Fans, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, also known as “The Best Ten Days of the Year.” For more than 30 years, Las Vegas has been the home to the world’s richest and most prestigious rodeo. This event has sold out 300 consecutive performances, a testament to you, the most loyal fans of any sport. In this guide, you will find comprehensive schedules for Wrangler NFR 9-5, Wrangler NFR After Dark and Entertainment Around Town. You will also find maps of the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown to assist you in getting around and discovering what has become known as the NFR Experience. Some fans ask, “What is the NFR Experience?” The best way I can describe it is an immersive, ten-day, 24/7 Western lifestyle experience. The Wrangler NFR is the focal point, and creating a unique experience for our fans is the ultimate goal. This year is no different. In 2015, the Thomas & Mack Center underwent a multi-million dollar renovation that included new seats, a wider concourse, upgraded restrooms and more concessions stands. This year we will unveil a new addition, The ‘Shoe – a fully-themed Western hospitality and interactive experience that also offers a new entry from the northwest end of the arena. We also invite you to explore Cowboy Christmas, located inside the South Halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to the ultimate shopping experience, the area also includes live entertainment, autograph sessions, a rodeo arena, saloon, interactive booths, rodeo exhibits, the NFR Social Arena and more. At Cowboy Christmas, It’s All Here! For the first time, the Junior NFR presented by YETI will be held inside the Wrangler Rodeo Arena at Cowboy Christmas. Youth contestants will compete for titles in mini bucking bulls, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing, breakaway and mini bareback riding. While the greatest rodeo competitors in the world strive to become world champions, we invite you to share in the Western heritage and experience everything that the Wrangler NFR has to offer. With the recent renovations and new north addition to the Thomas & Mack Center, there are now three preferred entrances into the arena based on your seat location. There are elevators at all three entrances, as well as escalators at the Main Entrance and The ‘Shoe Entrance. Based on your current seat location, please locate on the map below your preferred entrance. The Main Entrance: For seat locations within the BLUE area of the map or if you are arriving via taxi. Since 1985, the world’s best ProRodeo cowboys and cowgirls have traveled to Las Vegas to compete for fame, riches and gold buckles. For 10 days, the Wrangler NFR takes over the “Entertainment Capital of the World” as the city welcomes the contestants, their families, friends and fans to Las Vegas. The Thomas & Mack Center lights up each night as more than 17,000 enthusiastic rodeo fans cheer on their idols in the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world. Held in December each year, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is a legendary rodeo experience that grows with each passing year. This Dec. 1-10, the most elite athletes in rodeo will be on display on the sport’s biggest stage. Who will earn the coveted Gold Buckle this year?

The rodeo might only take place at night, but there are plenty of things for rodeo fans to do in Las Vegas during the day. Dozens of rodeo-related events are held throughout the city daily, including Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Cowboy Marketplace Gift Show at Mandalay Bay. Fans can also catch the wildly popular “Outside the Barrel” show hosted by Flint Rasmussen and the all new Keepin’ It Country with Daryle Singletary at Rodeo Live presented by RODEOHOUSTON®. Other events include the Miss Rodeo America Pageant competitions at the MGM Grand, autograph sessions with the 2016 Wrangler NFR contestants, the 30th Annual Spurs and Spikes Golf Tournament to benefit the ProRodeo Hall of Fame on December 9, Benny Binion’s World Famous Wrangler NFR Bucking Horse & Bull Sale at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center Dec. 1 and 3 and the Bob Tallman Wrangler NFR Charity Bowling Tournament at the Gold Coast on Dec. 3. One of the must-see elements will be the Wrangler Rodeo Arena, which will host the inaugural Junior NFR presented by YETI. This first-of-its-kind competition will feature youngsters 19 years old and younger competing in events the pros take part in at the Thomas & Mack, including mini bareback, mini bucking bulls, barrel racing, total team roping, tie-down roping and girls breakaway. From December 1-10, Cowboy Christmas is back again and better than ever! This year’s show features more exhibitors and merchandise, guaranteed to keep even the most avid shoppers entertained. Held inside the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Cowboy Christmas occupies approximately 450,000 square feet of show floor and features just under 400 exhibitors. These vendors are set up to display and sell to thousands of rodeo fans for the ten days the Wrangler NFR is in town. Cowboy Christmas is always free and open to the public, with hours of operation set at 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. In addition, RMEF’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo again will be co-located upstairs in the South Halls from Cowboy Christmas. The show will operate for the full ten days again in 2016, with a goal to become the most successful outdoor and hunting-related expo in the United States. In addition to the exclusive retail offerings and interactive experiences provided by Cowboy Christmas, rodeo fans also have access to the following services:

The Junior NFR competitions will take place over two three-day stretches: Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4, and Thursday, Dec. 8, through Saturday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission to the first two days of each three-day session are free, while the finals on Dec. 4 and Dec. 10 will be $10 for bleacher seating and $25 for VIP bleacher seating. All proceeds from the Dec. 4 and 10 ticket sales will go to the young cowboys and cowgirls competing in the finals. In addition to some cash, the winners of each event will receive their very own Montana Silversmiths Junior NFR belt buckle.
