After graduation I plan to move to Boston and launch my career in recruiting as an Associate Consultant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group. I look forward to joining with their Associates team and I am grateful for the opportunities UVM has brought me.

I plan to pursue a concentration in marketing, dual theme in sustainability and global business, and minor in sociology. I aim to be a well-rounded professional making positive contributions for a company and our planet.

I plan to work in the front end of an office, conducting sales or product development. With hopes of starting my owning business one day. Ambassador noah.burnham@uvm.edu I intend on studying computer science and statistics to ultimately become a software engineer or data scientist. Ambassador teddyeswara@gmail.com I am excited to explore all the career paths that are offered here at GSB. After graduation I hope to be pursuing a career in advertising or marketing. Outside of the business world I enjoy doing charity work with my church back home in Newton, MA.

Room Coordinator mikayla.farnum@uvm.edu Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, I hope to find a full-time position that I am truly passionate about and eventually complete the CFA. I would love to either become a financial analyst or advisor and work for a company such as Fidelity where there is lots of opportunity to professionally grow.

Gavin Fowkes

Ambassador gavin.fowkes@uvm.edu In the future, I hope to work at an ethical company that aligns with my personal morals and supports both social and environmental initiatives. A position that would be of interest to me is one that helps customers and the company as a whole. I am also interested in helping to solve global issues such as cultural disputes, climate change, and other environmental issues. My end goal is to work in an industry that works towards bettering the world.

Because of this, I have a particular interest in non-profit work, or in positions that incorporate direct community involvement. My goal is to incorporate my passions of marketing, graphic design, the outdoors, and travel into a fulfilling career by being part of an organization that contributes to creating a better world.

Taha Jamal

Ambassador taha.jamal@uvm.edu My professional goals are to earn a Business degree with a minor in Computer Science. In addition, I want to acquire an MBA to improve my leadership abilities, experiences, and professional networks. I always strive to better myself in order to be given a wonderful opportunity to accomplish something I enjoy. My accomplishments include serving as the Vice President of Recruitment for Delta Sigma Pi and Club Leader of the Football Club.

Ambassador sophia.larizza@uvm.edu Sophia has interned at a local art center where she assisted in community events. In addition, she gained experience in her intended career as a marketing intern at a financial services company during the summer of 2021. While interning, she gained certifications in Google Analytics for Beginners and Advanced Google Analytics. She also worked on projects, such as merchandise proposals, creation of media content, and database updates. Sophia will be studying abroad in Madrid this coming semester where she hopes to gain a more holistic view of business internationally.

Interning for a healthcare technology company for the past two summers on the sales and then data specialist team, provided me with invaluable knowledge and experience which I look forward to utilizing in my future career. While unsure of exactly what he wants to pursue, he is hoping that his experience this summer will help shape his career goals.
