Additionally, fans should be able to import their existing save files to transfer their game worlds on the upcoming new-gen ports. While it is revealed how the transfer process will generate new map space to create up for that differences in world sizes, the developer announced on June 26 that this feature will not be ready at launch.

The three Playstation ports with the open-world sandbox were announced last fall during GamesCom. 'Minecraft PS3 Edition' was the primary port to be removed using a launch on Dec. 17 in 2013.
