THE MUSEUM OF DIALOGUE PROJECT CONCEPT: Group: Hala Alfalih, Nhan Luu The Museum of Dialogue explores the dialogue between the passive and active circulations. It integrates these types of circulations by embodying physical paths which the user can experience. Through multiple various paths, the visitor can discover different parts of the museum while immersing themselves in the local art.

H.O.C LIBRARY
PROJECT CONCEPT: My redesign of Fulton County’s Main Library designed by Marcel Breuer and completed in 1980, reframes the Public Library that was once a warehouse of information to be instead a hyper-optimized information tool for use by the commons. What are the resources needed to help the community? Books are one of them, but what are other things, or resources, that a library can provide to the public? My solution is to create an H.O. C. or Hyper Optimize Space of Consciousness as an active space of public engagement. Therefore, the library of the future is not only a quiet, reflective space but also one of active engagement. By maintaining 75% of Breuer’s historic building exterior and 100% of the primary entry façade, the interior is redesigned to create a ‘public commons’— where everyone has access to the skills and knowledge needed to build workers for the new information age we are now living.

A.N HOTEL
PROJECT CONCEPT: The hotel project is located in Downtown Decatur - East Atlanta. With the urban fabric layout and rich historical spreads out the Decatur, furthermore, the Agnes Scott College establishes near the site, and the Marta station is 5 mins from the site. Which those elements that Decatur provides for downtown Decatur become the hot spot draw everyone to visit. Understanding of Decatur’s urban grid, the design of A-N Hotel is structured on framing a series of views through the orientation of the building. The plan also avoids direct sunlight by a shifted structural grid which is used to filter the light. “Integrative Studio Competition Finalist”
