Sounds of the Season

“Sounds of the Season” is one of eight bird paintings from a series called “The Fence Post Sitters”. The title makes reference to not only the sights, but the sounds of the winter season. The whispering of the wind in the pines, the silence of the snowfall, the clear, crisp call of the cardinal in the morning air.
