The Buzzing Piñata It was Bella’s fifth birthday and she had all her friends and their parents over for a party. Bella’s parents had put up a piñata in their front-yard and filled it with candies. Kids were so excited to see it and couldn’t wait for the candies.

Finally, after cutting the cake it was time to break the piñata. As soon as Bella’s mom asked everyone to gather in the front-yard, she and her friends ran outside. The parents ran behind them. Soon all the kids were standing in a line and parents were ready with their cameras. Being the birthday girl, Bella was the first to hit the piñata but it didn’t break. Then it was Sam’s turn,but he couldn't break it either. Now it was Rose’s turn. She tried with all her might, but the piñata was still intact. Then came another kid … but the piñata was still hanging. Then came Josh’s turn. He was the biggest of all kids at the party. He hit the piñata so hard it fell to the ground and broke apart with a loud BOOM.

At that very moment Bella’s dad heard a buzzing sound. But the kids were so loud, he wasn’t sure what he heard. But the sound got louder and louder. Suddenly he realized what it was and screamed, “Oh no! Beeeeees”. Hearing him scream, all the parents ran towards their kids while the kids ran towards the house. Within a minute everyone was inside.

Once inside the house, everyone gathered at the window and looked outside at the piĂąata laying on the ground. A large swarm of bees was coming out of the ground. Nobody knew there was a beehive in the ground.

The kids were sad because they were not able to get any candy from the piñata. Suddenly Bella smiled and announced, “That piñata was not full of candies; it was full of bees! Let’s call it The Buzzing Piñata!!” All the kids screamed together, “Yeah! The Buzzing Piñata!!” Everyone started laughing.
