SUSTAINERS POWER NHPBS
However you watch New Hampshire PBS – on your TV, with the PBS App or through NHPBS Passport – you hear one phrase all the time: NHPBS is made possible with support from Viewers Like You.
As the senior membership coordinator at NHPBS, I know our viewers better than most. When I talk to you about your favorite shows or help you access your member benefits, I’m always aware that you make it possible for us to educate, entertain and inspire our community.
We appreciate all our donors, but our sustaining members have the biggest impact. That’s why we’re celebrating our second annual SEASON OF THANKS. During November and December, sustainers can go to nhpbs.org/thanks and choose from three items – an NHPBS blanket, beanie or mug – as a token of our sincere appreciation for your consistent support.
All year long you’re asked to show up for us, and this is a small way we can show up for you – we hope you’re as excited to flaunt your new NHPBS gear as we are to say thank you.
One of the benefits of being a sustainer is that you don’t have to give a lot to make a big difference. Sustaining memberships start at as little as $5 a month, but can reach much higher. We appreciate any viewer who takes the time to share their generosity with us, and we want you to know that your donation makes an impact, no matter the dollar amount.
Because we have the consistent, ongoing support of sustainers, we can plan and thrive as an organization. Your sustaining membership gives us a strong foundation that lets us focus on creating content that enriches our lives. Because of you, we can bring viewers programming
they won’t find anywhere else, whether it’s PBS NEWS HOUR, with it’s consistently unbiased news coverage, GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE, which has celebrated student brainpower for generations or WINDOWS TO THE WILD WITH WILLEM LANGE, which inspires nature-lovers of all ages, backgrounds and ability levels. You keep your community informed, keep young scholars aiming for excellence and keep Willem out on the trail.
As a parent, I know that one of the most valuable resources NHPBS provides is children’s programming that gives kids a fun and safe way to be educated and entertained. Because we don’t face the same pressures as commercial media, we can invest in groundbreaking programming like CARL THE COLLECTOR. It’s the first kids show to have a main character on the autism spectrum and Carl’s sweet, thoughtful adventures will allow countless children in your community to see themselves represented on screen. That’s the difference our sustaining donors make, so naturally we’re thrilled to have a chance to show our gratitude.
Your support is powerful and it powers NHPBS. This is our second SEASON OF THANKS, and we hope to make it a tradition for many years to come. Each year, we strive to find unique ways to thank our generous sustainers. We hope you’ll love this year’s cozy, winter-inspired gifts. Let us know what kind of surprises you’d like to see in the future!
Go to nhpbs.org/ thanks or scan this QR code to choose your gift. Act fast – supplies are limited. Thank you, once again, for choosing to make a gift with impact.
