Work continues with Locala to agree the final payment for the delivery of the 2011/12 CQUINS. From July 2012 the Clinical Quality Board for Locala will be disaggregated from the contract management group to allow further scrutiny and challenge around the quality agenda.
Locala appointed lead; Tina Quinn leading on the mitigation/ variance report which will be received by the Heads of Quality by the end of June 2012. The Heads of Quality form GHCCG and NKCCG will the make recommendations to the SAO and Chairs in the respective CCGs for approval.
Performance
Review of commissioning mechanisms supporting the MYHT maternity contract complete and recommendations made to ECB.
Paper to be presented to the MYHT ECB in June 2012.
Work continues to disaggregate the North Kirklees CQC Serious Incidents. Systems developed and are now in place to code new incidents from June 2012 to CCGs rather than PCT.
Timeline for the completion of this work set within the quality information transition which will be submitted to the SHA by the 23rd June 2012, following scrutiny by the Cluster Governance Committee.
Cancer: 31 Day Waiting Time Standard – Surgery Only Actual performance for April shows 89.66% achievement against a national standard of 94%. 29 patients in total, 26 patients treated within the waiting time standard and 3 patients that breached the national waiting time standard for Surgery. All 3 patients were being treated at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. Two patients breached owing to ‘inadequate elective capacity’ (one patient waited 92 days and one patient waited 56 days), and one patient breached owing to the multi-
