I NGR ED IE N T S 1 tsp NICE IMPERIAL CEREMONIAL MATCHA TEA (when using ceremonial grade, you may need less - adjust to taste) 1/4 cup hot water 1 cup whole milk, or preferred non-dairy milk Sugar or sweetener to taste (use a few drops of stevia or 1 1/2 tsp coconut sugar)
I NSTR U C T IO N S Pour the matcha green tea powder into a mug along with 1/4 cup of hot water. Let the tea steep for 1-2 minutes, whisking rapidly to break up any small pieces. For this you can use a wooden matcha whisk or a small metal whisk (a matcha whisk works best). If you have an automatic milk frother, add the milk to the frother, heat and froth the milk, pour it into the steeped matcha and sweeten to taste. If you do not have a frother, add steeped matcha to a small saucepan with the milk and sugar or sweetener. Heat until mixture bubbles around the edges, whisking constantly. If you prefer a frothy latte, use an immersion blender to carefully whip up some foam after it's done heating. Pour into a large mug, serve and enjoy! Adjust the sweetener to taste. This type of latte tastes best lightly sweetened.

Matcha Pancakes I NGR ED IE N T S 1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
1 tablespoon NICE IMPERIAL CEREMONIAL MATCHA TEA
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
I NSTR U C T IO N S In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vegetable oil or melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Add the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt, and whisk 7-10 times, just until the batter comes together. The batter may and should be lumpy. Heat a heavy cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat. Brush with vegetable oil or butter. Using a 1/4 cup measure, dollop circles of pancake batter onto the skillet. Wait until bubbles appear and pop on the surface, then flip the pancakes and cook for another minute or so. Stack pancakes and serve hot with butter and maple syrup.

Matcha Hummus I NGR ED IE N T S OLIVE OIL RECIPE:
3 cups peeled and well rinsed cooked chickpeas 3 tablespoons of tahini sesame paste
1/4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 clove of garlic
1/2 teaspoon of NICE IMPERIAL CEREMONIAL MATCHA TEA
Juice of one lemon Pinch of salt 2 tablespoons of olive oil
I NSTR U C T IO N S Break down the chickpeas in a food processor using the pulse option. Add the remaining ingredients and process until hummus is smooth and creamy. Adjust for taste with lemon, garlic and salt. Add matcha powder. For this step, it’s useful to sift the matcha for easier blending. Blend well until the entire dish is uniformly green. For the Matcha Oil: Sift matcha over a small bowl of olive oil and whisk until well blended. Serve hummus with a healthy drizzle of olive oil and a platter of pita, cucumber and carrots. Makes an excellent party snack or healthy breakfast toast.
