She is also this year one of most popular boardsports athlete on social networks in front of Tony Hawk and even Kelly Slater… She is a great ambassador for Rip Curl wearing “My Bikini” and also a very helpful consultant for the Mirage and Alana’s Closet lines.
The European Pride Pauline is the only European surfer to have re-qualified more than 3 times on the World Tour and is by far the best European woman surfer today. She is the inspiration of the new generation like young French Champion Kim Veteau or new Spanish talent Ariane Ochoa, both in the Euro Rip Curl Team. Rip Curl met up with Alana Blanchard in Bali this year to develop her latest Alana’s Closet collection. Her focus was on refined cuts, details and fabrications on sexy silouhettes. The line has been broadened to include three stories this season, ‘Sunray’, ‘Bali Dancer’ and ‘Serpentina’ all influenced by Alana’s signature style.

Rip Curl invited Heather Brown on their annual Design Camp this year to give the Heather Brown for Rip curl collection a fresh spin. She gathered inspiration from the tropical surroundings and Balinese culture to create some unique artwork. Heather Brown is an artist who lives on the North Shore of O’ahu. Known for her depictions of iconic surf breaks and tropical island settings, Heather’s unique style lends itself perfectly to Living The Search.
