18 July 2014 Attention: Artists and Photographers Dear All, The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been mandated to award its Trophy for 2014 to an artiste from St. Vincent and the Grenadines whose works reflect a commitment to sport and the attendant positive values; artists and creators who, through their talent, have promoted Olympism and left a legacy through art. We therefore request of you, should there be interest in the award, to submit appropriate pieces of your work for consideration by a panel of judges to be appointed by the NOC in keeping with the following guidelines. Here is a non-exhaustive list of forms of our definition of art. The visual arts such as painting, sculpture, architecture, textiles, videos, cartoons, calligraphy, experimental cinema, design, drawing, graffiti, graphics, engraving, marquetry, mosaics, mural painting, photography, sculpture, architecture, silkscreen printing, dress design, stained-glass window-making, web design, etc., but also other forms of expression, for example the performing arts, music, etc. We kindly request that the aforementioned pieces reach us no later than 30 September 2014.
