This paper came about through the initiative of Frank Salt Real Estate. Over the last few years FSRE has invested energy and time in Valletta’s heritage through direct sponsorship of exhibitions and events, as well as through its highly successful series of Valletta Heritage Seminars about the city which we shall include in the Events page of The Valletta Gazette.
The Valletta Gazette aims to focus on culture, art and life in the city, and although Valletta’s history is always apparent we don’t intend this to be a historical paper. We aim to highlight Valletta news today, to examine some of the issues and problems and, hopefully, to help present possible solutions. To this aim we will be collaborating with the Valletta Local Council who through their direct involvement with the infrastructure will help us provide you with up-to-date and relevant news as we keep a finger on the pulse of the city.
