Nicola D'Ugo
Nicola D’Ugo is an Italian poet, fiction writer, essayist, film and book critic, and translator. He attended courses of acting and world literature in America at Union County College. He received his M.A. in Foreign Modern Languages and Literatures and his Ph.D. in English Literatures from the Sapienza. He has been a founding editor of the cultural studies journal "Praz!" (1993-1997) and co-editor of the monthly magazine "Notizie in… Controluce" (1999-2001). His poetry and fiction have been published by Mondadori, Lampi di Stampa, Mario Michele Pascale, Edizioni Kappa, in calendars, and in Italian and international periodicals. He has also contributed a huge amount of articles, essays, academic papers and reviews on literature, cinema, drama, fine arts, theory of criticism, and current issues to "Avvenimenti", Rai News, Mondadori.com, "Englishes", "MondoDonna", "Amnesia Vivace", "Samurai", and other print and online publications.
