Nicola Pallitt

Lecturer, Centre for Innovation in Learning & Teaching (CILT) at the University of Cape Town. I completed my PhD (Media Studies) in 2013 through the Centre for Film and Media Studies at UCT. My research interests include understanding how people appropriate ICTs in various contexts, from children playing games in after-school settings to students using social media in Higher Education. I am also involved in curriculum innovation initiatives and work in assisting university staff with integrating educational technologies in their courses. I use this platform for sharing the newsletter I design for the Friends of the South African Iziko Museum and educational resources that are part of my work.
