About me Born in Lima from an Italian family, I am an accredited Peruvian Architect with experience in architectural design and construction. I received my Bachelorâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s degree from Universidad Ricardo Palma in 2008 and my Architect degree in 2015 with Mediateca de Arte Secuencial [MAS] thesis. Participated in numerous projects design by myself and under renowned professionals in Peru, I am looking to contribute with my skills in an architectural environment, working on challenging projects as well as extend my experience in a creative surrounding.

nicolas la rosa peron Dissertation Thesis [Director: Juvenal Baracco] [MAS] MEDIATECA DE ARTE SECUENCIAL - 2014 In Lima, green is a luxury. The city of Lima, has 2 m2 of green area per habitant. The starting point for the thesis was to design a building that responds to two significant problems in the city: [i] lack of green areas and [ii] the lack of public infrastructure. Inspired by comic books, the MAS offers an public plaza and park at ground level and an underground infrastructure with a roofed square. By designing the services in the underground, the pedestrian area is maximized.

The ground plaza [squares] and the entrance atriums [circles] are an interpretation of the most distinguished parts of a comic book: the panels and the speech balloons.

This project is one of 19 schools developed for the National Programme for Educational Infrastructure (PRONIED) of the Peru. To be more efficient in the design and construction process of the schools, I designed a system of modules that support the entire spatial programming. Although each school is different due to its plot, topography, position and surrounding environment, the system provides a common language for the 19 schools.

This school was developed around a central module that integrates all social areas, including the sports court, cafeteria and courtyard. Classrooms are located at the back of the terrain in order to take advantage of the two remaining faces of the terrain, and benefit from natural light. Upper left: Main Entrance. This school was built with a central ramp, to address the steep slope where it is located as well as its irregular terrain. Young schoolchildren can easily transit along this ramp. The starting point for the project was that the plot had two facades, which allowed to centralize the vertical circulation, and have one flat at each side with plenty of natural light. The parking lot and the entrance are located at the ground floor, five flats and two duplexes are in the upper floors. The building uses transparencies to optimize the views and materials that don't require much maintenance.

The commission was to design a summer house in a mountain without cutting the affluence of people at the existing sea side boardwalk. The starting point was to create an elevated platform. Three spaces are recognizable: [i] the terrace, located to the west with views of the ocean, [ii] the private and social spaces at the centre of the house also with views of the ocean and [iii] the services and circulations that are located next to the mountain.

This project is located in a mountain in the city of Lima. The clients requirements were that [i] the house had a big terrace in the front and [ii] that the rooms had their own private terrace. To achieve this, the first and third floor are retreated.

The services and the pool are located in the ground floor. The main terrace and all social spaces are located in the first floor. The vertical circulation is located within an interior garden. The main room, a mezzanine and a cinema room are located in the second floor while the kids rooms [with restroom] and their respective terraces are in the third floor.

This project was a refurbishment of a house for two families. The idea was to prioritize the views of the bay from the social and private spaces for both houses. House 1 [ground floor] has access to the boardwalk through a garden with a pool. House 2 [from the first floor and up] has a terrace in the second floor. This terrace has a structured roof made of wood and metal beams which creates an open space and allows unobstructed views of the whole bay.

The starting point was to separate the distinct books types and to generate a central corridor with the cashier at the centre of the bookstore. The client required the childrenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s zone to be unique, so the solution was to create a colour scheme associated with the books and a trail around the zone.
