Fernando qualified as pharmacist in the year 1991, at the University of Barcelona, Spain, in which thereafter he earned his Master and Doctorate in Galenic Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology.

He was given the responsibility of setting up the first semi-solids pilot plant at the university of which many students still benefit today in the development of formulations. For several years he gained extensive experience in the research, de-

velopment and manufacturing of chemical peels, intra-dermal solutions,nutriceuticals and topical aesthetic formulations, in Europe as well as South America.

It was under the guidance of fellow medical researchers that Fernando engaged in the study of modern trans delivery systems, resulting in unique formulation discoveries, which today has a profound influence on the course of new formulation developments. The research laboratory responsible for all new innovative developments is a family laboratory founded in the late nineteenth century by pharmacist Don Antonio FitaTrias (PhD), great grandfather of Fernando.

1958 In 1958, Don Fernando Bouffard Vicente (MD), the 3rd generation, became head of the LAB.

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS With years of gained experience it became a worldwide demand that Fernando should share his knowledge and expertise and has therefore become a renowned international speaker that has presented more than 400 lectures at numerous aesthetic medicine congresses worldwide.
