ONE PLANET - ONE FUTURE The Threat of Climate Change for People & The Planet

One Planet One Future harnesses the universal language of art to raise awareness and inspire the visitors to take action.

The aim is to draw attention to the human-caused threats to the planet and the environmental crisis.

The intent is to engage people from diverse geographies, generations, backgrounds and cultures, to change their behaviours and habits and for us to work together to reverse the damage we have all made as one.

The art will tell the story of “what we had, what we have today, what we will lose if we continue going the way we are , and what we may have if we work together to fix the crisis”.

The message of the exhibit serves as a plea to reimagine the world and to bridge the disconnection for the next generation in order to do this we must work together. One planet – one future together.

FOUR WORLDS ONE WORLD, ONE PLANET exhibit will walk you through 4 vast realms with distinct different forms of artworks: These artworks will consists in various displays that are designed to stimulate each of the five human senses while the viewer journeys between the following worlds.

PAST -

The world we once had

PRESENT –

The world we currently live within

FUTURE NEGATIVE –

Our future world should we not change

A NEW WORLD –

The future would we can have if we act now

10

Throughout each realm, viewers will be captivated by art and information displayed in ways that emotionally stimulate the viewer with sight, touch, smell, sounds and taste. The spaces will be designed to walk between each world starting in the past ending in the new world however within each world viewers can roam at their own pace to observe and connect with the art in any order they like. Connection is part of being human and we believe that once you have connected with the world though your own personal sensory system the viewer can truly feel emotionally connected to the world and what is happening to it - This is how we intend to use art to raise awareness and promote change together. As the viewer exists the final world they are expected to leave feeling informed and motivated with realistic ideas on how they can partake in turning our one world into tomorrows One Planet.

PLAN DEVELOPMENT ONE PLANET EXHIBIT

22

One planet exhibit is designed for maximum impact in visualization. One of the key concepts in this project is creating spaces which successfully blend the four worlds into a journey which portrays a certain message. The space needs to function as a well-organized display of information through different forms of art to enhance the topic of climate change and how we can come together. The space needs to be efficient for the visitors to understand the message and not to be overwhelmed with the space or different kinds of art for the allocated space for the exhibit. The space needs to be able to incorporate a clever scheme which will showcase a sizeable arrangement of the four worlds.

SPACE DEVELOPMENT

KEY FACTORS TO CONSIDER:

Exhibit space is small

Be efficient and smart with the space to create an impact but have enough open space

Use special effects to enhance the emotions of the visitor

Create a unique journey around the exhibit

Can see small parts into other worlds to keep the guest intrigue along the journey

DISPLAY OPTIONS Climate Change is the defining issue of our time and we are at a defining moment. From shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding, the impacts of climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale. Without drastic action today together, adapting to these impacts in the future will be more difficult and costly. The only way to make an impact is together as one. ONE PLANET, ONE FUTURE TOGETHER
