LOGO COMPETITION FOR THE GLENELG SUICIDE PREVENTION NETWORK Design Brief The Glenelg Suicide Prevention Network was established in Portland,Victoria, in February 2014 as a group of community members and service providers working together to implement suicide prevention initiatives and activities throughout the Glenelg shire. The network is supported by Wesley LifeForce, a program funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health as part of the national suicide prevention strategy. The network joins a national network of community groups working together to tackle suicide prevention.

Our network is seeking a local designer or community member to create their logo to reflect its grounding in the Glenelg Shire.The logo will be utilised on a range of marketing collateral and displayed at a national level.

Project requirements The group has outlined concept elements for inclusion in the design. These include:

Positivity Hope Community Encouragement Working together Minimal variation in colour is recommended in consideration of future printing costs.

However, this request should not restrain creativity.

The logo should not portray suicide or death as an event.
