[PORTFOLIO]

This Project was a fictional project that was done on the basis that something in the history of a country did not happen or happpened differently. My concept was that the country of Belgium was never taken over and was an independant country. For my design I chose landmarks that were indexical of the country. There are 2 aspects that I looked at which is past and present. In My experiance I see that people find identity in their country and its history but also take pride in the innovations that come from their country men.

The Concept of this project is BODY, what is body? what are its limitations? For this project I chose the cosmos as a BODY, it has mass and measurable space. The images I chose were those captured by the Hubble Telescope, I then presented them within a texture that seems to be tearing apart or spinning out of control, similar to certain phenoms in the cosmos, especially dealing with stars and galexies. Each image was printed on 11x17in Hanamule Photorag paper.

This was a branding project I worked on for a bodyboarding company that was started by Jeff and Dave Hubbard called Hubboards. They wanted a Bold logo that would stand out from the crowd but also represent who they are which is bodyboarders. The Large image on the left is the final logo that was developed after working with Nick Mesrite. The three images below are a look into the development process that went into the logo creation. [None of these logos were used.]

These are two posters I designed for Surfing the Nations annual Ulu Pono art show. Ulu Pono is an after school program for kids in Wahiwa to learn and do art. Every year the kids along with Surfing the Nations put on an art show. This year I was asked to help out with the posters for the show. The title of the show is “into the wild.”
