Corporate Banking Application for an Indian Bank Keywords: banking, web based application, information design The purpose of this project was to facilitate users with a simple, yet effective set of solutions for fluid money transactions and a serene experience. The primary function of this application is to aid transactions. The secondary functions are to update the user about his regular financial activities and to take care of the user’s financial and corporate needs at the same platform. It was important to identify the task journeys and the users, to make any slight changes to the application. The most important aspect of this application was the amount of content, which I tried to resolve through typographical intervention. I also tried to minimize the content load on each page, so the user could go through the content hassle free.Â

Admissions 14-15 National Institute of Design Keywords: website design, vibrant, modular Admissions is a ritual in most colleges and it is really important to keep the visuals fresh each year. Especially in the case of design schools. The design and information system matters more than what is visible on the screen. In this project, it was important to segregate information in a way that it is easier for a user to browse through. Since the target audience is not limited to the applicants, others need to be influenced by the same and should look at the institute with a fresh view. The content on such websites is really important, and to make it look interesting and alive, one should focus on different treatments and colours. Here, a vibrant colour palette was chosen to catch attention and the primary pages had a slightly different, and a more interesting layout than the secondary ones. The layouts are made of elements which are modular and could be put together in different ways for different pages, resulting in a more vivid approach. Flip thorugh the brochure here.

Khetri Museum Webpage Keywords: ramakrishna mission, unique, activities, attractive Vivek Darshan is an upcoming first exclusive museum of Swami Vivekananda in Khetri, Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan. This museum would be dedicated to Swami Vivekananda’s life, his teachings and his relationship with Khetri. The work for the same was started last year and the Ramakrishna Mission needed a webpage for the same. The team wanted to put up details about funds, and how people can help them, as there were certain domains where they needed more assistance. The matter was put up on a wordpress, where the information was in a blog format and the team wanted something more interesting, which could attract the audience.Â

Final Webpage

Firstly, I thought of making the webpage horizontal as it would catch instant attention since every other page has a vertical navigation. As it is only one page, I took the liberty for the layouts and tried to give them a new definition. The rhombus shape of the images and detail to the page allows one to see the previous page and next page peeping in. The project will be put up soon as a part of their current website.

Knowledge Management Center Website Keywords: resources, communicative, distribution, bridge This website was a result of an intrinsic study of the Knowledge Management Centre; the library of the National Institute of Design. It is a resource of audio/ visual information and has over 36,000 books. I studied the details of the Dewey Decimal System, which is practised in 200,000 libraries across 135 countries, to have a better understanding of the distribution of various subjects. I tried to keep the language minimal, with an emphasis on the various services other than the book search engine.Â

Red Keywords: magazine design, subculture, open-source magazine This magazine is a balance between expression and information. Every issue deals with one topic related to violence, as one part of the big story. Every issue begins with articles that throw light on the topic itself, its origin and related incidents that have occurred over the course of time. Then it moves on to people’s stories and opinions and concludes with more information about the current affairs pertaining to that topic. The structure is such that even if the reader is not equipped with the knowledge, the magazine will enlighten him. You can see the magazine here
