LEARNING LAB 1 Course Number: 145
Grade level: 9-10
Prerequisite: Placement from the Learning Support Staff The high school Learning Lab course has been designed to assist students in various academic areas. The program reinforces student learning and helps develop the essential skills that a high school student needs in order to meet the various goals of each course. Learning Lab is an elective class that provides curriculum support for Math and English classes. In the Learning Lab, students receive individual and small-group instruction. Additionally, the Learning Support teacher closely monitors each student’s classroom performance by conducting limited inclusion support within Math and English courses and also by partnering with classroom teachers. Registration for this course is made by teacher placement only. Credit Value: 1 (pass/fail)
