ASABA -Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan yesterday pardoned three prisoners on death roll in the state in commemoration of

who had their death sentences from ten years to fifteen years and life imprisonment respectively .“The death sentences of nine others, following the recommendations of the same council, I have also

INEC gives details of 2015 General Election OSOGBO - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun on Wednesday said it has displayed notice of the 2015 general elections in line with its timetable and schedule. A statement signed by Mrs Adenike Tadese, the Chief Public Affairs Officer of the commission, said the notice had been displayed at the
headquarters and local government offices across the state. ABUJA - Motorists and commuters suffered long hours in gridlocks on roads leading into Abuja city centre from satellite communities as a result of security checks mounted by the military along the road. Among the roads affected are Abuja-keffi highway, Abuja-Suleja Road and Airport Road. On the Abuja-Keffi Road, which is characteristically a heavy traffic route , commuters stayed in the traffic for upwards of three to four hours.
