Community re-affirms loyalty to Oshiomhole

I G U O D O D O (ORHIONMWON) The people of Iguododo community, Ugboko ward in Orhionmwon local government area have re-affirmed their membership of the All

Progressives Congress (APC), and pledged their continued loyalty to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State.

HIS is to inform the people of Edo State that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the 3rd phase of the distribution of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) and Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in 12 States including Edo State for September, 2014. Everyone who has a temporary voters’ card is expected to go to his Polling Unit level where he/she registered for collection of the Permanent Voter’s Card. At the end of the Polling Unit level distribution, uncollected PVCs will be taken to the INEC office in each of the Local Government for subsequent collection. Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) for those who had not previously registered and for those who had just attained the age of 18, will hold for five days after collection of the Permanent Voters’ Cards. All Edo people are enjoined to take advantage of this exercise to be eligible to vote in the coming 2015 General Election and subsequent elections in the State. ABUJA - The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, said the Federal Government would fashion out a residency training programme that would tackle and solve the problem of the current system. Chukwu, made this known at a one-day intensive appraisal of the residency training programme in Federal Government-owned hospitals in Abuja yesterday. He said that the

strike by the doctors had brought the issue of residency training into sharper focus for Nigerians for a variety of reasons. The minister said that the problems inherent in

the current programme over the years crystallised in the few weeks into what was tantamount to a

complete loss of empathy and concern for human life by the professional group. Chukwu said that
