ABUJA The Senate yesterday resolved to do more consultations, after a 3hour closed door meeting with service chiefs on President Goodluck Jonathan’s request for extending emergency rule in the three North-East states of Yobe, Adamawa and Borno. The lawmakers subsequently deferred
debate on the issue till Tuesday next week to allow other stakeholders’ imput on the matter.
