BENIN CITY – The

Assistant Inspector – General (AIG) of Police, Zone ‘5’ Mr. Hashimu Salihu Argungu has placed his men on red alert ahead of any security challenge that may arise across the zone during and after the forthcoming ember months. The AIG gave the indication at a sensitization meeting held in Benin City, for officers and men including Edo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Foluso Adebanjo. “The essence we are here is to sensitize you all (policemen) on the coming ember months; we believe in planning; proper planning prevents poor performance; we know the current crime and criminalities in our society”.
