CAMPUS DESIGN The site was situated in chikmaglur. Chikmagalur is a beautiful hill station situated at a height of about 3400 feet. Chikmagalur is popular for its peaceful condition, lavish green timberlands and tall mountains. It is also famous for the coffee and is often referred to as the coffee land of Karnataka.
The idea was the entomb connection between the teachers and students, just as the difficulties a student must face during the student life in college. Given such a beautiful setting.
The curved line represents the students and the straight line represents the teachers and staff. To compliment the curved lines, circles are introduced. The shaded portion represents the flow of education in a curriculum. Thus it becomes a form.
The voids and irregularities in the form represents the hurdles in a students life. The final form.

RURAL DOCUMENTATION STORIES WOVEN IN STONE This report was delivered to record the exploration, investigation and estimated drawings of the village Bukkasagara in Hospet Taluk, Bellary District, Karnataka. The obligations of information gathering, estimations, infrastructure, and so forth were all in all satisfied by a gathering of 27 students studying architecture from the School Of Architecture, Reva University through the time of two days on location. Bukkasagara is one of the most established village settlement which features the exceptional vernacular architecture of Vijayanagara provincial style.
SITE CONTEXT Bukkasagara is about 9 km from the UNESCOWorld Heritage Site – Hampi. It contains the Ruins of the Medieval Site, Vijaynagara. Located in the Hospet Taluk, Bellary, the village is about 55kms from the District Quarters,19kms away from the Taluk and about 360 kms from the capital of Karnataka, Bangalore. The village covers a perimeter of about 10 kms. It is a small village housing 5666 people. The village is bisected by the state high-way, this resulted in a division based on the caste differences.
LANDSCAPE Bukkasagara is a region located in between two hills. This provides the village with a very rocky terrain. Many of the occupants in the village work on these rocky hills to cut stones which have been used in the buildings.
LANDUSE
ACTIVITY MAPPING
The map above shows the different activities that take place at different locations in the village of Bukkasagara throughout the day. It is a thorough attempt at documenting their activities as we students have spent the entire day spread out in various parts of the village.
This was a route for us to investigate what reason each assembled space was utilized for. We had door to door interactions with almost all the villagers in order to come up with the data shown above.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC MAPPING
The residents of Bukkasagara are clouded by the feelings of caste and religious separations thus making perfect sense for them to occupy certain parts of the village as their own. The map above shows how they’ve claimed each part of the village so as to make sure they belonged in their religiously comfortable sector.
