Facade Detail
Facade: PET Foam with Vinyl-ester wrap. The layers that make up the facades iconic feature will be polyethylene terephthalate (PET) foam with a vinyl-ester wrap similar to the William Barak building, which is within close proximity to the site. The detail shows how it will be bolted to a structural beam within each floor level and sit away from the external structure by 100mm. This distance will enable cleaning and maintenance to be performed as well as enabling a socket to bolt panels to the frame from the buildings side creating a seamless effect on the exterior of the building.
