Following the huge urban development witnessed right now in the city of Shenzhen, in China, our focus lies on the SQ (Sungang-Qingshuihe) district; on its crucial role for the China-Hong Kong borders, its unique landscape, the relation between the building stock and the building needs, the contradiction between the old, traditional way of living and the new, rapidly changing urban environment. This is a proposal by Argyriou Konstantinos and Christidi Nikoletta, architecture students at the National Technical University of Athens.
