Nikos Salonitis
Nikos Salonitis was born in 1968. He plays guitar since 6 years old. He finished his studies on classical guitar in 1985. He studied musicology at the musicology section of University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and he graduated in 1998. He plays fretless jazz bass since 1993. He joined in about 1000 concerts in all Greece and abroad from 1993 to 2000. He played in bands with Nick Dounousis (Ex guitarist from Blues Wire), Kostas Magginas, Vicky Almazidoy (Jazzoo), Gregoris Simadopoylos, Eygenios Dermitasoglou, Kostas Pratsinakis, We're Enough, Florian Micuta, Dimitris Karaganis, Michalis Kapilidis, Vasilis Giagias, Christos Germenoglou, Nikos Psofogiorgos, Thanos Michailidis, Akis Katsoupakis and many more. He has been a jazz bass instructor at Philippos Nakas music school in Thesaloniki. He has also recorded in several projects. He lives in Arta since 2000, where he taught music theory in the section of Traditional music of the University of Epirus for 10 years. In March of 2010, with Sakis Laios and his wife I
