The first show of the World Tour Exhibition of Contemporary Art takes place in one of the cities with the most vibrant art scenes in the world, with a strong representation of 40 renowned artists from 24 countries; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Germany, Honduras, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America and Venezuela. The WTECA is a unique concept that will showcase alternative exhibitions in 5 countries around the globe as diverse as artist’s styles. The unique atmosphere from each carefully chosen location, offers a one of a kind cultural experience to the artist and the audience. ALEKXEY SABIDO Mexico - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Alekxey Sabido's paintings are the joyful discovery of nonrepresentational painting with different mix mediums: acrylics, oils, inks, graphite. Happiness, energy and peace are masterfully expressed through his bold use of color. In his paintings, Alekxey constantly seeks the representation of nothingness. The result is an amazing surface that seduces the viewer with inviting sensations, conspiracy and intimacy. The inspiration for the "Beyond Color Collection" came from challenging lifechanging circumstances in 2008 and Alekxey began painting the nonevident factors that daily influence one's life. "When painting I'm constantly escaping from the ego and channeling images from the spirit. The intention of this body of work is to fill our surroundings with images that reminds us life goes beyond what we perceive with our senses every day "

Alekxey Sabido's paintings have been exhibited in Mexico, US and Europe. The artist is often selected to represent Mexico in international art events. He was an active member of the ArtCenter South Florida in the heart of Miami Beach for more than ten years. His work has been selected to illustrate books and promotional material as well as  in TV series like the "Kardashians". In 2010, Alekxey was acknowledge as "100 Latinos Miami".

ALICIA H. TORRES Colombia - United States of America

ARTIST STATEMENT I manipulate in my paintings the expression and the people's gestures using the order and the apparently chaos of the stain with a minimum of line contours; layering, mixing and pouring light and heavy layers of colors with a radiant palette of reds, oranges, blues. and the opacity of the grays, blacks and whites to create a hybrid art form in any composition. The images are ambiguous, sometimes distorted to create abstraction. Splattering the canvas with a dynamic and gestural movements I leave my desires, fears, hopes, dreams, idiosyncrasies which help me to capture my spontaneity and my freedom to continue working. My goal and desire are to release my emotions and send them to the spectator in the same way I feel them, with the same curiosity of reasoning it out, decoding and evaluating them aesthetically, giving a message so my paintings speak by themselves without the need of words. I paint what I am. If there is something magical or secret that is it. I don't want to copy reality because I just want to discover traits to be real in my own reality. The symbolic abstraction of the universe, I look it in the small details to make my painting a gigantic piece of art full of forms, tactile qualities, colors and movements as like Louise Bourgeois wrote, " Color is stronger than Language. It's subliminal communication".

ARTIST STATEMENT “Museum Ghosts� is about the life of the many artist that form the collections of the many museums around the world, and what it would be like if they could all share their experiences with us, what could we learned that is not in he book, and how would they get along among them selves. Through my work I seek to bring awareness of the social and cultural realities that are patent in our world today. The starting points are the photographs that I take, images of people and places that hope to capture their spirit, their beat, their struggle, and the feel of it all. I photograph them aiming to capture the reality and uniqueness of their lives and their environment. The photographs are then printed on canvas, allowing me to add perceptions at the scene: the uniqueness, emotions and contradictions that I felt, thus conveying the fullness of the intended message. Underlying this work are the unexpected joys that arise from transformation: extracting and magnifying uniqueness while creating something altogether new.

ARACELI SALCEDO AZPURU Mexico ARTIST STATEMENT Her journey through painting has lead her to experiment with different techniques, expanding her studies in workshops of the American Water Society in the United States and Mexico. Araceli has participated in over 30 shows including Fusion in MĂŠxico City, The International Fair of Frankfurt, and also contributing to auctions auctions internationally. She has been published in International Art Books including the International Artists Catalogue, 100 Contemporary International Artists (Belgium), and the European Community Library of Artists. ARTIST STATEMENT İstanbul, 1954. Established Turkish artist living and working in İstanbul, whose ABSTRACT paintings explore the relationship between man and the cosmos by attempting to represent the present as seen from the future. Arkun has had more than 13 SOLO EXHIBITIONS, mostly in his native Turkey. He is a member of the UNESCO International Association of Artists. “Even if I take up a variety of motives in my works, I get more the subject of the painting itself. Therefore İ try to avoid acting on a certain style. İ thing, in this confused world where man sacrifice his self to himself, especially art must be one of the most free spaces”.

AYSEL GÖZÜBÜYÜK Turkey ARTIST STATEMENT Leading from the conflicts derived from individuals relations with the society, I refer to basic humanity problems such as racism, gender or class discrimination. Although I think I'm a narrator, I focus on how tell the story rather than the story itself. I consider the human body especially the expressive portraits allowed me to render my thoughts. In my canvases, usually a single figure detached from its surrounding tells its own story which is indeed everyone. In Mother Earth, the earth and human being on it is represented by traditional mother metaphor, but contemporary, feminist intent. The Mother Earth doesn't seem happy. she seems to be worried and bored with mankind especially the man.

CARLOS VIVAR Mexico

In 1987 he commenced his professional career in plastic arts in Milan, Italy. Strongly influenced, among others, but it particular by techniques from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, and by a mix of various styles from contemporary Mexican and European painters from the last century, Vivar expresses through engraving work, the paintings and sculptures with a distinct artistic background. His works have been exhibited in some of the most prestigious galleries, as well as abroad. Vivar, who appreciates deeply his own roots, expresses a link between cultures as well as a certain contemporary expression of today’s Mexican Contemporary art. “I totally agree that art should to constantly reinvent ourselves, to follow proposing new roads and not be easily in one place, we must go on ...as in life”

CAROL ADRIANZA FERDINAND Venezuela - USA ARTIST STATEMENT

I began my art studies in Miami Fl, with a personal tutorial in Silk-screen technique. Following to that I traveled to Italy for further my studies in visual arts with an Italian maestro, blending other artistic forms into my portraiture, expanding to abstract and mix media from my early works in Black & White, keeping the sobriety which characterizes them. The beauty of this method is the individual manipulation of each handpainted-monoprint. My subject matter is mostly focus on artistic representations of iconic characters, self-portraits or people who do not exist any longer, in which the face, and its expressions are predominant. I always perform a previous study of the subjects I represent. Each of my subjects have a special connection and a reason for being chosen, ''an attachment''. Always trying to enlighten the understanding of fashion and style thru my subjects. CECILIA DEL TORO Colombia - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Born in Colombia, she is a versatile artist who masters oil painting, jewelry, metal, and porcelain painting. Cecilia is a Colombian surgeon who moved to the United States in 2003 and traded in surgical equipment for artist’s tools. She studied at Montgomery College in Rockville MD Arts and Sciences. Cecilia enjoys “naturalism” and “sensuality”, A key feature in Cecilia’s work is her love of painting faces, and the use of light and color. “Light and color are particularly important to me”, explains Cecilia, “Because they reflect inner self, along with my intense love for nature and all its creatures”.

In an attempt to explore, capture and understand its existence I encourage each of my paintings to tell a story about the creation of personal emotional identity. My abstract works reference the intangible concept of human sentiment and formative emotional experience. For me there is no greater truth in life than to explore, investigate and create artwork born from personal emotional responses to the everyday and the extraordinary, the real and the ephemeral. I strive to paint that which cannot be seen by others, that uniqueness of feeling which I know belongs only to me.

DUNIA GATICA Mexico - UAE ARTIST STATEMENT My artwork portrays the symbolic meaning of doors, the desire for inner exploration and self-discovery. On the other hand, it may represent an opening in your waking life or a desire to open up. The lock represents closing the door to the past as well as entrapment. Behind them, there could be a place of danger or safety. It is the choice of the “viewer” to remain outside or to open up to find what’s inside. Every individual is the guard of its own entryway.

I work in series, with an inspiration concentrating me around a theme for a while. The painting is always trying to show the silent part of us, the broken souls or the questioning vertigo. In Digital, I’m mainly attracted to forgotten places, junk yard, rubbish, scrap yard, building sites and by the self-portraits. I’m a prolific hard worker, never really satisfied and in my vein, I consider myself as a lucky woman to be able to give to my relationship with the world and my hidden ghosts and devils a shape while keeping the playfulness of childhood.

ELISHA BEN YITZHAK Israel - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Since young age, painting and sculpturing have always been a major part of my whole being. My paintings are about the essence and rhythm of life, all depicting symbols of life the way I see it. I have always strived to reach the ultimate balance in composition and colors. The struggle of making a society more receptive of art has followed me throughout my life. I strongly believe that art plays an important role in every society by transforming thinking and understanding of the immediate surroundings. Later in life I started composing songs and poems. FRANCES SNIFFEN United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Frances Sniffen born in Greensboro, North Carolina, earned her BFA at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. Her further studies include the Art Students League of New York at Woodstock and the University of Maryland at College Park, Md. She is a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists, in New York. Exhibitions include the 2003 and 2009 International Biennale in Florence, Italy, Sculpture Now 2008 of the Washington Sculptors Group, The Drawing Center 2007 Auction in New York City, 440 Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, the former Gallery K. FRANCISCO CERON Colombia - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Art has always played a very central role in my life. From an early age, I was quite convinced that what I wanted to be was a painter, it sounds such a clichĂŠ to say 'it's my dream', but to be honest it really is. I love what I do. I think my art is like a window to show the good side of the world, is a vehicle for carrying messages of joy and the celebration of life. I use strong and vibrant colors to wake up the child that lives in every spectator. Match the World through the eyes of a child is to see the essence and enjoy every instant of life. To grow and forget about those moments that would fill us up with happiness is what makes our souls old and what hinders our life. As an artist and a person, acting with senses and feelings, I would say that art works speak more than words. I let my creations talk about themselves. They alone can show the ways and things which inspire and give me a fillip to do the works. The roots of my inspiration can be found in the colors of my native country Colombia and ancient cultures of South America with all the graphics and symbols of the Precolombian culture. Also greatest artists has influenced in my work like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Gustav Klim, Wassily Kandinsky, with another cultural movements like the pop art, the cubism, the urban art and the comics.

The crisis in Mexico, insecurity and violence have been part of the Mexicans to feel overwhelmed, to comment on the news, anxiety, stress. My intention is to highlight the beauty of the country, looking to the horizon, up, sky, landscape, environment friendly, they greet us daily and shows the greatness of the country. That's where I find inspiration in, where creativity flourishes, where returning to basics. Contact with nature, see a sunset, clouds of summer, the sound of rain. This work is inspired by "Sleeping Woman" that is maintained by the Popocatepetl and each season gives us a different landscape.

HATICE AYKANAT Turkey ARTIST STATEMENT The"excuse"paintings . Tales have told us nice stories, but the reality was different than those. “Prince charming", always filled a young girl's dreams, but the reality was different than that. Fairy tales always had good ends, but unfortunately, the real world has become ugly, dirty and very cruel now. There are no more available the colors, the smell and the taste I like in the world and in my country. Colors are already dimmed, flavours are rancid and sour. And from now on, "Prince charming" is just an "excuse".

JANE ELLEN MURRAY United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT

As a Creative Director of J. Walter Thompson I won a Clio Award (the Oscar of the advertising business) for Art Direction for a campaign for Pepsi International . My oil painting career began when I joined the Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Art. I took classes with a number of their nationally famous artists, was elected to their Board of Directors and have had a number of successful showing there of my work in the past 9 years. My art is in several collections, including the lobby of The Suncoast Theatre in New Port Richie, Florida. The Theatre was built for Gloria Swanson in the ‘20. In 2009 I was invited to display my paintings in Florence, Italy where at the Biennale Inter nazionale Dell’Arte Contemporanea. In 2010 I had an opening at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in Chelsea and the Broadway Gallery in New York City, This year my new still life “Cherries Jubilee” was featured on the cover of the calendar Amsterdam Whitney sent out to their patrons. I am listed and have my art displayed in International Contemporary MASTERS IV. In June, 2011 my paintings will be on display at the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art in Las Vegas. Later this year my art will be displayed at Gallery Gora in Montreal, Canada. “My newest works are called "Eye Candy" and are designed to delight the viewer by breaking all the rules of traditional Still Life ... luscious, juicy fruits seen on a giant scale. They make your mouth water. They capture the beautiful of nature in glorious color. She finds her basis and inspiration in fashion and everything revolving around that. In the many layers of her paintings, Joop uses materials such as fabrics and works with patterns sometimes visible, sometimes invisible. In her work Joop looks for balance and space, for beauty and silence. She finds this in shapes and colors. Her paintings mediate tremendous harmony and peace and are characterized by her choice, for warm earth tones. Her work is sold around the globe she has exhibited her work in among other places, Florence Biennale, Ghent Lineart, Amsterdam and Barcelona.

JOSAFAT MIRANDA Mexico - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Born in Mexico City. His passion which later flourished into a successful career started at the tender age of 9, helping his father paint cathedrals throughout his country. Josafat began his formal studies in Visual Arts at ENAP (Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas). Josafat Miranda has participated en diverse collective exhibits in and out of his native land. ARTIST STATEMENT In it’s essence, photography is an act of voyeurism. To catch reality by stealing it’s light is an indiscretion made with sensibility. Recording an image transforms a transient ray of light into a permanent object that, by it’s nature, may induce feelings or ideas that give a meaning to it’s own existence. In this sense, photography should be shocking and provoke a reaction, must stimulate our sensibility and be free of any pre-determined concept of beauty. Photography is fascinating because it keeps the moment an image impressed us, induced a thought, stayed in our memory, and thus entered our own individual culture. This gratifying record of life, so dear to photographers, is largely responsible for the effect induced in the observer. Though the image, photography induces interpretation and the remembering of similar experiences, in this way contributing to one’s self-enrichment.

KAREN STAROSTA-GILINSKI Venezuela - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT I find really interesting how most of the things look alive through the sun light. Things crystallize by the sunshine. On the opposite, in darkness things get opaque and with no inner light. Sea at night reflects on the moonlight. I am interested on the sparks and reflections of crystals and jewels. I focus also in the transparency of objects. Light that traverses matter is one of my most important platforms for my work. Gems and semiprecious stones combined with pigment and resin in my work form a gleaming compound of reflections. The combination of these reflections along with the three dimensional shapes of the stone creates a tactile surface that draws the viewer into the c a n v a s . I n a w a y, I a m interested to displace the traditional vision of jewels stones to another space and dimension; that is the lightness and the luminescent effects the stones absorb hung in the vertical and flat surface of the wall. As the daughter of an art tutor, she grew up with creativity and aesthetics, discovering the fascination excluding from colors and shapes already as a little child. Alvarez passed the German Legal State Exam, spent two years as a trainee with a daily newspaper and published satirical poems and a novel. But she never stopped creating her own world: “Painting – that means consciousness of limits. Painting - that means game, life, hope, fear, fight, provocation, challenge and love. Everything”.

LENI IBARGUENGOYTIA Mexico - United States of America ARTIST STATEMENT Ibargüengoytia understands and expresses the fragility of time, leaving no space for self-indulgency (painting over paper, an esthetic manifestation of lightness), submerged in trauma, action and circular motions. That is how her technique takes us to a space where man is replaced by his trace, and the world awaits to this traces mercy. We are, after all, circular shadows of a circular mass motion, flawed because we have reached the top and postponed the act of salvation. Ibargüengoytia takes us through this “poetic immersion” in which society doesn’t guide the artist’s work, for she is knowingly under a different commitment, a project of emancipation. Ibargüengoytia’s subjects operate within this “search of love and help”. Drowned in a multi-referential ambiance, immersed in it, the fog isolates and makes impossible for any direct communication. And nevertheless emotion preexists, the particles open way to the unknown, and therefore, to possibility, to that which ties precariousness with hope in overcoming unhappiness, in the eternal need of coming up for air, giving oxygen to that which until now was morally neutral.

LYNNE IGGULDEN New Zealand ARTIST STATEMENT Lynne has been painting and drawing since early childhood and now paints full time from her home studio in Papamoa, Tauranga; in the picturesque Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Lynne specializes in ‘Contemporary Realism’ and her paintings portray a passion for detail, texture and the presence of light and shade and the desire to ‘capture a moment’, or simply showing a ‘passage in time’. Lynne paints a wide range of subjects – however; her greatest passion is detailed texture, where the viewer will often feel the urge to reach out and interact with the painting, “from trying to peel the paint from an old barn door to picking the rust off a rusty bolt”. Her paintings are largely influenced by her surrounding environment of the beautiful Bay of Plenty and growing up in Titahi Bay, north of Wellington, where as a child she spent countless days at the beach which resulted in a fascination at the charm and character of the weathered timber, chipping paint and the old rusty padlocks and tractors of the Bay Boat Sheds.

To paint… is one, no, it’s my possibility, to express my feelings, my desires, my fears, my gladness, my heart, my tears and my laughter in pictures. Colours… first, they enable me to implement my thoughts and ideas, to joint them together like a puzzle and to realize my dreams. They express, they let us feel, they open up new vistas for us and allow us to fathom the emotional states, and we can dunk in our soul. Ideas… they become more and more. Where shall I start, where shall I stop? I explode and enjoy it. Possibilities… there are thousands of them. Give your heart free rein. Thoughts… The thoughts are free and this phrase gets its true dimension first through the painting. Everybody can paint, if he feels.

„Ain’t it fun“. No better words can describe my desire to create art! Art, is the rock ‘n roll of my soul and desire of expressing a lifestyle. From the very beginning of my work, more than 20 years ago, I decided to develop a new approach to photography and the possibility of expressing myself. I was driven by the desire to put more life and feelings into my works and create a new perspective of photographic art. Experimenting with analogue photography and printing techniques, in 2006 I created my own technique of illuminating pigmented colors on canvas or similar materials thus finding a possibility to show the world in colors and expression through my eyes. I come from a childhood full of encouragement of creativity and achievement, but one also of dischord. From my earliest days, I could more easily convey true and honest feelings, thoughts, opinions, and reflections of my life and the world through images than through words. Images leave much open to interpretation, but also reach for a fundamental connection and profound meaning. When a piece of art is complete, it stands on its own and has its own life. I really strive to create things of beauty that mean something to others, as well as to myself, even if that meaning is different for each person who shares them. I see my artwork as addressing issues of isolation, transcendence, and the emotional importance of color. I like to incorporate whatever materials I discover that interest me and will get me closer to my vision of that piece, and have learned to use many mediums and tools, freeing me to follow my ideas. Predominately, I use acrylic and oil paints, plaster, wood, metal, resin, and any thing else that will work. My art reflects my fascination with color, texture, organic shapes and lines, as well as a desire to illustrate emotions and stories through figurative elements. There is a tension between my work being led by the materials, by the texture, shape and color and what comes out of it, or by images and more illustrative concerns. My most current work has become a melding of sculpture and painting, and is often very organic in form. It can be completely abstract, or figures can emerge out of a fog of color, line and texture

SINA KHOSRAVI Canada ARTIST STATEMENT My style of painting is premised on the exfiltration of paint through the weave of the canvas. Just as paint lengthens when squeezed out of a tube, my canvases extrude paint-lines. This allows me to explore the sculptural aspects of paint. My approach creates a medium which is the synthesis of both painting and sculpture. My intention is to work through a problem within the two magisterial media of visual art: painting and sculpture. The problem is this: how far apart are the two mediums? I try to collapse some of the conceptual distance that divides them. This 'collapse' happens to favor painting. The canvas has always been the literal base for painting, but how often has paint itself played a sculptural role? By turning the familiar (flat paint) into the unfamiliar (moving paint strings), I am not only paying homage to Russian formalist critics and their concept of "ostranenie," but I'm also experimenting with a Bachelardian poetics of the granular. My work tends to be small-scaled. The paintings display paint strings that can actually move. Lighting and air flow can activate the paintings into something subtly auto-performative. All the paint used in the paintings is pure acrylic and no other material has been added to the paint.

The points of departure for my work have been Jackson Pollock, Lucio Fontana, Mark Rothko, and Eva Hesse. These are now monumental names, but their innovations still reverberate if we value the philosophical conundrum of trying to keep on 'painting' in an age of 'posts' and digital virtualities.

Volcano, 2011. Acrylic and Stucco on Canvas. 90 x 80 cm. ARTIST STATEMENT Stella works with an abstract, mixed technique, using stucco and acrylic colours on canvas. Her biggest inspiration comes from her environment, which every season creates a different and outstanding combination of images and colours. When she paints she has the feeling that her spirit conquers her material, which guides her and gives form to her painting throughout the alternation of her feelings. The most of her paintings are scenes, which passing through a plethora of feelings, ideas and thoughts, get printed on the canvas, spontaneously transformed. In another case, the same motif gets printed under a different light and weather or other times throughout reversal reflections. It could be described as a thoroughly accident, in which the world of accident hides a conscious decision of colours and direction of the brush and the spatula. Her expressionistic scenes have vivid experiential clues of her personal life, have favourite colours and reborn colours, which have optical experienced.

Its diversity of species of marine and terrestrial creatures make it known as a rare biological museum for the world. I first started the series of "Echo of Ancient Life" in 2001. At that time ,the Kunming government entrusted our company to set up an “Ecological Gallery”. The original idea was to create some bionic architectures following the form of ancient fossil’s prototype. For some reason, this project was held up. But I began to try other possibilities beyond the idea of "bionic architecture" because I wanted to continue my dream for this creation. In 2008, some artworks of “Echo of Ancient Life” series 2 had been completed.. In order to develop more ideas, I applied "new media art" to free more spacefor my imagination. From 2010, I started "Echo of Ancient Life light sculpture. This is another artistic method I used to represent the delicate forms of ancient creatures.
