Time distribution: LESSON 1
Key vocabulary presentation. Watching an Andy Warhol Presentation or You Tube videos of his portraits. Emphasizing the use of colours. Working on questions like: What colours do you see? What kind of colours are they? Do you like this use of colour? Are the colours bright or dark? Are they primary, secondary, complementary? Whole group. 1 hour session
LESSON 2
With a worksheet given by the teacher, looking for information in the net about Pop Art and Andy Warhol Portraits. If the teacher knows how hey can programme a mini quest. Students have to pick one of the portraits by Warhol to use the same colours when they paint their portraits. They have to explain why they choose this one--using My favourite colours are, I like this because is brighter, darker, warmer cooler… Individual, 1 hour session

Time distribution: LESSON 3
After choosing their favourite portrait, students have to describe them to the other students. They have to identify the use of colour and the have to speak in terms of feelings. We can do this activity written if we have time or as a home work. Work in pairs and individual, 1 hour session
LESSON 4
Create their own portraits in the way the portrait they choose. Students are supposed to be familiarized with Pop Art Studio Programme or Photoshop. First they pass their own photos to black and white and then they convert to a 4 portraits with different layers. We can also print the black and white work and colour it with wax or crayons. Individual work, 2 hour sessions
LESSON 5
Describing their self-portraits in terms of colours and feelings. Write a description of their self-portraits. Whole group and individual, 1 hour session
End product: Andy Warhol Style Self Portraits, Pop Art Portraits Display of the Portraits and the written descriptions
