02 |INSTITUTION House of Sports | Movement

Site Location : C.N.Vidhyalaya, Ambavadi, Ahmedabad Site Area : 4000 sq . m The programme for the design studio was to design a sports complex in C.N. Vidhyalaya, Ahmedabad. The idea of the project was to create a Sports complex which would balance between the built form of Academic buildings. Indoor games ,outdoor games and sitting space with canteen had to be inculcated. The sports complex was for the C.N. Vidhyalaya student and also for the whole city student.

14

C.N. Vidhyala has a strong network connection with the city outside and also within its campus. creating a movement oriented centre, where basic plan generates out of the elements of circulation like ramps staircases, corridors. Since we find that people spend much of their time in the spaces of movement which connects the different spaces all together into a journey. So, having circulation as a main element block is designed around it.
