Section 3 – Indigenous Ways of Life: a reflection of the lived experiences of Indigenous peoples regarding the state of WBNP. Section 4 – WBNP Management Context: a brief summary of the role of the Parks Canada Agency (the federal authority that manages WBNP), collaboration with Indigenous governments and with other levels of government and other organizations, and international agreements of relevance to the site. Section 5 – Strategic Environmental Assessment: a brief overview of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), including a summary of the desired outcomes for the site’s world heritage values and key findings of the assessment that informed this Action Plan.

Section 6 – Action Plan: the actions that will be taken to protect the OUV of WBNP. Section 7 – Implementation, Reporting, and Review: a summary of the collaboration and governance required to implement the Action Plan and of the reporting and review process for the Action Plan.

In section 6, each of the seven themes are addressed with specific actions designed to support broad goals that will ensure the continued maintenance of the OUV of the site. Each theme has been given a short-hand acronym to help identify the relevant actions. The acronyms and number of actions addressed within each theme are shown below: Acronym
