MARY ELLEN LEICHT NJCAA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR In 2009, Mary Ellen Leicht became the first female chief executive of any national intercollegiate athletic organization in the United States when she was named Executive Director of the NJCAA. Leicht has been a cornerstone of the NJCAA since joining the organization in 1989 as Eligibility Administrator. Championing improvements in equity of sports seasons, scholarships and contests, Leicht has provided the NJCAA with a level playing field for all its member institutions and student-athletes. Leicht continues to utilize a proactive approach that has maintained the NJCAA’s status as the undisputed leader of two-year collegiate athletics.

DI MEN’S BASKETBALL COMMITTEE The NJCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee is responsible for setting policies and procedures for the approval by the NJCAA Board of Directors. For the 2012‐13 season, the NJCAA will release 14 Division I Men’s Basketball rankings beginning Tuesday, Nov. 13. Member colleges are required to enter weekly sta s cs and game results to the NJCAA stat system. Colleges that fail to do so will be excluded from the poll. Each NJCAA district director will report the top teams in their respec ve region to the NJCAA na onal office by Monday, 10:00 a.m. (MST). Regions failing to report by that me will not be reflected in the poll. The combined reports will then be sent out to the district directors who will vote for their Top 25 teams. The na onal office will compile the votes and release the final Top 25 rankings.
