CONTACT is an annual festival of photography in Toronto, during the month of May, with over 1000 local, national and international Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival Celebrating its 16th year as the world’s largest photography festival, CONTACT 2012 continues the tradition of presenting powerful imagery that reflects the face of our changing world. With past renowned artists including David LaChapelle, Edward Burtynsky, Barbara Kruger and Robert Longo, CONTACT will once again highlight accomplished photographers in primary exhibitions and public installations that explore the concept of “Public.” From street photography that captures the pulse of the city to conceptual projects exposing issues of common interest, this year’s festival explores how images influence social perspective. Frangelico is a traditional hazelnut liqueur - enjoyed neat, over ice, with coffee or in a wide variety of stylish cocktails. Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) is a non-profit organization founded by Paul Haggis and friends in 2009 that encourages peace and social justice, and addresses issues of poverty around the world. APJ’s immediate goal is to serve children and their families in the poorest communities in Haiti by supporting programs focused on education, health and dignity through the Academy for Peace and Justice, the first free secondary school in Haiti. APJ board members include: Diane Lane, Josh Brolin, Oliver Stone, Madeline Stowe, Maria Bello, Olivia Wilde, James Franco, Natasha Koifman, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ben Stiller, and Charlize Theron. APJ is unique in that 100% of all public donations go towards APJ efforts in Haiti.

Since 1984, Camp Oochigeas has been providing kids with cancer and kids affected by childhood cancer with a unique opportunity for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences. Camp Oochigeas residential camp is located on 400 acres of beautiful lake side property in Muskoka and offers chemotherapy and dialysis treatment on site. Ooch also offers year-round programming at SickKids Hospital, and in 2011 officially opened its doors to Ooch Downtown, located in downtown Toronto, where kids can go to camp without having to go far from home. Ooch programming ensures children affected by cancer can get back to what really matters - being kids! Receiving no government funding, children are able to experience Camp Ooch programs at no cost their families thanks to the generosity of the donors and volunteers.

Partners for Mental Health (PMH), an independent not-forprofit affiliated with the Mental Health Commission of Canada is a grass-roots advocacy movement committed to repositioning mental health on the national agenda. A national social movement, PMH is focused on redefining what it means to have a mental illness using the voices and actions of ordinary Canadians. PMH comes to life through an annual national event promoting the power of mental well-being. These activities will be supported using web-based social media to create an online community of communities that will advocate for profound change in the policies, programs and supports that exist for mental health and mental illness; it will also challenge beliefs we have held about mental illness as individuals, families, communities, organizations and society.
