Jessica Brown & Dan Wells - FOX19 NOW Jessica joined the FOX19 NOW news team in August of 2012 and was promoted to weekday morning anchor in 2018. She is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and decided to trade the beach for some snow and do what she loves. She’s no stranger to severe weather, she worked as a reporter and anchor in Joplin, Missouri for 2 years covering one of the deadliest tornadoes in history. Jessica is also a proud graduate of Florida State University (Go Noles!) Dan came to FOX 19 in 2008 after working as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at WJET, the ABC affiliate in Erie, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Dan was also general assignment reporter at KMIR, the NBC affiliate in Palm Springs, California. Dan began his journalism career at KNXV the ABC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona. He spent four years working in the production and news departments there. In 2012, Dan was given the opportunity to launch the FOX19 NOW Weekend Morning News. In March of 2016, he was given the opportunity to anchor the FOX19 NOW Weekday Morning News. The Pennsylvania native holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism/communications from Clarion University.
