Weareaschoolthatpridesitselfontheambitiouseducationwedeliver.Inpart,thisispossibleduetothe inspiration we draw from our mother school, NLCS UK and the important bond that has developed betweenthetwoinstitutions.

A daily bus serviceforthosedaystudentsattendingtheschoolisoperatedbyanexternalprovider Our bus routes are designed to serve as many of our students aspossible,whilstkeepingjourneytimesto underonehour BusesoperatefromJejuCity,Seogwipo,HallimandaGECrouteandarriveatschoolno laterthan08.00.Departuretimemaychangebytermdependingontheschooltimetableandaer-school activities. All members of the NLCS Jeju community are valued as individualsandhavetherighttofeelsafeand happywithintheschoolenvironment. Junior School students from Reception to Year 4 will be accompanied to the Medical Centre by an adult/memberofstaff. Year5and6studentsareallowedtovisittheMedicalCentrewithafriendhaving receivedapermissionnotefromamemberofstaff.

WITHDRAWINGFROMSCHOOL

We encourage all parentstospeaktotheirchildʼstutor/classteacheroranothermemberofstaffbefore making the decision to withdraw their child from NLCS Jeju, as this will allow us the opportunity to discussthereasonsfurther.

Onceadecisionhasbeenmade,parentsmustcompletetheʻWithdrawalFormʼontheParentPortal.This istheonlymannerinwhichformalwithdrawalnotificationwillbeconsidered

AspertheTermsandConditions,notificationofwithdrawalshouldbesubmittedwithatleastoneterms notice.Failuretodosowillresultintheschoolretainingthestudent'sacceptancedepositinlieuofnotice.

TRANSFERRINGFROMBOARDINGTODAY

ParentswhowishtomovetheirchildfromboardingtodaymustcompletethetransferformontheParent Portal.SucharequestwillbeconsideredbytheVPandAVP(Pastoral).Aswellasrequiringapproval,the noticeisrequiredtobeatleastoneterms,otherwisetheparentswillbeliableforatermsboardingfees

The school will support applications to other schools by completing an NLCS Jeju Standard Student ReferenceForm(SSRF)whichisacceptabletoallUKandUShighschools.Wedonotsupportapplications through third party agencies or sites such as SAO/SSAT or Gateway to Prep Schools. References or recommendations (theSSRF)willbepassedontothedestinationschool,nottostudent,parentorthird parties
