Chinese Lunar New Year

“This day was my best day of school ever! Children enjoyed all of the activities and they played as hard as they could. There was an adorable dog and kids welcoming us to their amazing, delightful and charming house. Dumpling dancing inside my mouth made me put a gigantic smile on my face. Their activities were an amazing set of experiences to have and gave us crazy happiness. I would never have a better day than this Chinese Lunar new year festival trip.”

“This exceptional trip to Chinese host families was a great opportunity for me to experience the cultures of the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival. With the hard preparation of the teachers and the host families, I was able to have a wonderful day, with not even a minute to get bored of. The activities were very exciting and thrilling, moreover the taste of the fabulous dishes never left my mind. Again, I want to show the greatest gratitude I possibly can to all the teachers and the host families for putting this remarkable trip that I would never be able to forget together.”

“Personally, it was my best Thursday ever. From the start of our journey, I found a remarkable and adorable Y1 child called Robin. For the whole day, Robin and I had a wonderful time. We had an amazing time and the dumpling making activity was very interesting. I was shocked at my classmates’ creativity at making dumplings. Gio made the infamous “Nothing Dumpling” and Sophia made the cat-shaped dumplings, which made everybody there laugh at her remarkable skills. Even though there were some children using their time at making the dumplings, I was the one that ate all the dumplings. I also very much enjoyed playing with the dog of the host’s house, “Rocky”. It was very impressive that the dog reacted to its own name, but didn’t to another name. But mostly, I loved the people. The Chinese people were so kind and generous, which I think was the main reason that I absolutely loved the trip. It was delicious, it was enjoyable, and finally, it was loving.”
