The new ERF will be one of the safest and cleanest in the country. It will be built with the world’s most advanced technology for cleaning and controlling emissions. For the large majority of the year its contribution is expected to be effectively zero at ground level and the predicted concentrations are well below the limits of detection. It would only be for a few hours in a year that its contribution would be measurable. The levels shown at the locations in the diagram indicate what the peak contributions of the ERF would be for a few hours in a year.
