Troop & Family Camp
Troop Camp
Troop Adventure meets overnight camp—it’s the best of both worlds. Girl Scouts and their Troop leaders attend camp together participating in classic camp activities as a troop such as arts and crafts and campfires. Girl Scouts in grades 4 and above can also choose to try archery or other camp-specific activities. Additional activities are offered such as hikes, yoga, knife safety, canoeing, and trail rides.

• Troops sleep as a group and spend the day participating in activities together.
• Troop leaders are responsible for their troop at all times, including wake up, bedtime, transition to activities, time in-between activities, downtime, etc.
• Camp staff will lead activities.
• Girl Scouts have opportunities to interact with other campers, but most of your time is spent as a troop making camp memories together.
All adults registered for Troop Camp must have a current 2023 Girl Scout membership and must have successfully completed a GSNMT background check.
Family Camp
Experience the magic of camp with your family! Our trained staff will lead you through adventures such as hiking, arts and crafts, yoga, and more. Family camp is great for Girl Scouts new to camping or families who just want to have fun outdoors without all the planning.

How to Choose Your Activities
Once your group has paid in full, you’ll be emailed the Troop & Family Camper Guide—your link to choose activities for your group will be within that packet. Review available activities with your group to make your selection. Below are the list of available activities offered. Activity descriptions are available on our website, nmgirlscouts.org/2023summercamp.
Schedules are made on a first come, first served basis. The sooner you get your selections in, the more likely you are to get your first choices. The number of activities that you will be assigned will depend on the overall camp number for the session you are attending. If you do not wish for camp to provide any led programs, you have that option.
