A collaborative approach to corporate social responsibility. For years we have provided opportunities for corporations to demonstrate their commitment to the communities of Colorado and Wyoming . We work with you to develop a community engagement program that inspires employees, increases corporate visibility and allows your company to have a direct impact on the community that you work and live in.
People around the world want companies to go beyond making a profit, paying taxes, employing people and obeying all laws; they want companies to contribute broader societal goals‌ -The Millennium Poll Corporate Responsibility Conducted by Environics International LTD.

Sponsor an event or program By sponsoring an event with a donation, you help us keep our expenses low so that more money raised goes to support our mission. In return, you’ll be prominently promoted throughout the Chapter as an official Corporate Partner. Participants support the National MS Society and want to spend their money with businesses that do that as well.
Ways to sponsor an event or program • Provide a cash donation to underwrite the expenses of the event. • Provide an in-kind product, such as supplies, vehicles, printing or media time; or in-kind service, such as bank tellers to count donations after an event, or video-conferencing for the Chapter. Whatever your business does, we most likely have a place for you at a program or event.

What is multiple sclerosis?
MS facts
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease that affects the central nervous system by disrupting the flow of information from the brain to the body. It has no known cause and no known cure. Symptoms vary from person to person, making it hard to diagnose. MS generally strikes in the prime of life — ages 20-50, and women are diagnosed with MS, two to three times more often than men.
• Every hour in the United States someone is newly diagnosed with MS
Colorado and Wyoming have one of the highest incidences of MS in the nation.
About the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter We are a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. Every year we help over 100,000 people affected by MS in Colorado and Wyoming move their lives forward. We raise funds locally to support the Society’s cutting-edge research and to provide comprehensive support services and programs for people living with MS, their family members, friends, employers, caregivers and health care professionals.
MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn’t.
• The average annual cost of living with MS exceeds $57,000 per person with lifetime costs of more than $3.7 million. • MS is the most common neurological disease leading to disability in young adults. • More than twice as many women than men have MS. • MS affects more than 13,000 people in Colorado and Wyoming, 400,000 people in the United States and 2.1 million worldwide.
OUR VISION: A world free of multiple sclerosis. OUR RESEARCH FUNDRAISING GOAL: We will raise $250 million for MS research by the end of 2015. OUR RESEARCH GOAL: We are a driving force of MS research and treatment. STOP: We must stop all disease activity and prevent further progression for people already living with MS. RESTORE: We must restore all function that has been lost to nervous system damage from MS. END: We must work to completely eradicate MS and prevent it from ever occurring in the future.
CO-WY Chapter Events When you support the MS Society, you’ll join a community of individuals who are making an impact today and bringing hope for a world free of MS. Walk MS: a remarkable achievement with over 250,000 walkers in more than 600 cities across the U.S. that raises essential funds for MS research and services.
Bike MS: a two-day inspirational ride covering 150 miles through rolling hills and captivating scenery. The sense of accomplishment you feel as you cross the finish line can only be matched by the difference you make in the lives of people affected by MS.
Hike MS: takes fun and fundraising to new heights as you enjoy beautiful mountain scenery while making great strides towards a cure. Hike routes are designed for all skill levels—so gather friends and family and change you altitude.
MuckFest MS: an unforgettable challenge course through miles of water, mud and muck that will test your mettle with physical fitness, teamwork and, of course, FUN!
MS on the Move Luncheon: Join the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society for an extraordinary fundraising event that funds critical research and programs and services for those affected by multiple sclerosis.
