PREPARE
Secure lodging (area hotels sell out early), order team jerseys and your team tent, then coordinate food, massage therapists, decorations, and other perks for the team
COVER YOUR COSTS
Secure sponsors through personal business connections or ask your company to cover registration fees or pay for jerseys
TRAIN
Connect with other teams for team training rides, host one yourself or check with local bike shops for additional rides
Employers will frequently cover the costs for corporate teams. Ask your company if they will cover registration fees, sponsor team jerseys or provide massage therapists and catering for your team tent. In return, they get to be part of Colorado’s premier cycling event, gain exposure to more than 4,000 riders and have a positive impact in their community. Bike MS is more than just a ride. Friends and Family Teams can also find ways to mitigate team costs by asking your local business connections to sponsor your team or see if your favorite restaurant will cater your team tent. Add their logos to your team jerseys, hang their banners on your tent and make sure to thank them and share the impact they are having in the lives of people affected by multiple sclerosis.
Jerseys
Most teams will have uniform jerseys, which represent the team or company they are riding for. Prices start around $60.00. Primal Wear, our preferred vendor, offers a 15% donation back to your team if you purchase through them.
Team Tent Amenities
The options are endless. Bring in massage therapists, kiddie pools full of ice, decorations, couches, and don’t forget the catering!
Team Tents
Tents range in price from around $200 (10’x10’) to $500 (20’x30’). Teams of 10 or less should plan on a 10’ x 10’ tent. Teams approaching 50+ team members should order a 20’ x 30’ tent.
