Bike MS Team Captain Participating as a Team captain for the National MS Society’s fundraising event, Bike MS, is an opportunity for individuals to expand their leadership skills through meaningful interactions with community volunteer leaders, participants and Society staff. Team captains work together to contribute to a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS), through team fundraising activities. Team captains will partner with Society staff to determine a success plan for meeting their desired goal. Successful Team Captains will: • Raise money to fund reseach, and programs and services for people living with MS 2014 Key Dates • Mentor team members to maximize their fundraising potential • Take an active role in building awareness and creating connections for the MS Annual Meeting January 23 Community • Network with other team captains & individuals who are passionate about creating a world free of MS. Team Captain Rally February 22 Qualities Sought: • A passion for the National MS Society & working toward creating a world free of MS • Effective communication, organizational and leadership skills to drive team success • Demonstrate innovation to build a team committed to fundraising • Ability to influence others
