Abstract The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine trend of changes in body mass index and lipid profile of Health care and Office workers, age more than 35 years old, in Health Promotion Center, Region 1, Bangkok in 5 year, 2007-2011. The results of study showed in 5 years, mean BMI was increasing about 0.31 kg/m2, men 0.5 kg/m2 and women 0.31 kg/m2. Similarly, prevalence of obesity and extreme obesity was increasing especially in men than women. But mean lipid profile ex. Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDLC and LDL-C had trend to decrease, especially decrease most in mean Cholesterol about 6.51 mg/dl, men more than women (19.52 and 5.41 mg/dl respectively) Key Words: Body mass index, Lipid profile, Trend in 5 years, Bangkok
